I loved the follow me monday video. For future video, can you show the check out process and how you match up your coupons from the book to the product. Thanks so much for posting all this great info!

I commented about it in the video post, but just to let everyone know: the Blue Bunny ice cream is no longer $3.50 (in my area at least). The $2 coupons expire 11/30, so I'm hoping for a good sale at Target or Albertson's if no Roll Back occurs again.

I am still battling the Wal-Mart in my area. Management refuses to accept internet based coupons. I loaded my cart up again today and left another $113 cart full of stuff at the register, bagged and ready to walk out with.

I had and showed the Assistant Manager Wal-Mart's Coupon Policy, Smartsource and Veri-fi's coupon literature and she still wouldn't budge. I was on hold with Wal-Mart customer service for 20 minutes and she left and never came back. She is sooo unprofessional. She wouldn't even give me the District Managers name, I had to get it from Corporate.

Thank you so much for all your help you are my hero :)

It appears you had a coupon for every item, which is always a plus. I will keep this in mind when going to Wal-Mart!

I love your follow me monday video. I am glad that I am not the only one who admits to being a big dork! LOL Anyway, what a great idea for viewers to actually see couponing in action! I just have one question, Do you always get so lucky to have a cashier that doesn't give you a hard time? I would like to see a follow me monday episode where you could possibly have to "battle" the coupon policy. Just a thought! Thanks for such great info as always!

i hate walmart too. BUT i decided that if they want to exploit companies and their employees, i will exploit my coupons and only go in there as a last resort and only for coupon items.

I DO check this thing 20 times a day. LOL

Hi guys,
Sorry about the Mahatma rice coupon, but it looks like it's no longer available on Coupons.com. I've tried lots of zips and it's just not showing up.

Also, to answer the other questions:

I found the travel size Tide in the travel size section. It's in a bin by all the other personal care travel size items.

Jenny,
Yes, the sarah lee is prepackaged.

Also, I will be doing an upcoming follow me Monday coupon organization video, so stay tuned!:)

Also, at our Wal-Mart in the clearanced school supply section, you can get Meade Pro Platinum heavy duty zipper binders with built-in pockets for $1 and change. The original price is $11 and change.

I am a newbie to couponing and bought this to start my "collection"! :-)

I don't do a lot of shopping at Walmart but when I do I try to have a coupon for every item. Just recently I was checking out and had a lot of coupons. I usually try to keep things friendly with the person behind me in line because I know it takes some time to scan all those coupons. She couldn't believe how many I had (I had several internet coupons) so she started asking me where I got them etc. When the clerk gave me my total the lady behind me was shocked. Since I didn't have time to explain all about couponing I told her to go to Hip to Save! Thanks for all you do to help us all save money!!

Thank you so much for the list with coupon matches. It will really help.

I didn't see the Mahatma rice coupon on coupons.com. Do you remember the zip?

Anonymous said...

I loved your video, thank you! Just yesterday I took my pile of nearly expiring coupons to walmart and something really weird happened. As she scanned the coupons it looked like it was taking the price off but when I got home and checked my receipt only 6 of my 14 $1 off coupons actually were deducted from the total. What a disappointment especially since I made a special trip and bought certain items just because it was cheap with the coupon. Not sure I will do Walmart again, this isn't the first time I have had issues.

OH YES! When I go to Walmart, I count the coupons I use. And watch the screen to make sure the coupon amount changes from item to item. The serial numbers should change. I know sometimes the hand scanner miss-fires and won't start beeping there is a problem until the cashier has scanned another 4 coupons! :(

BUT! I worked for Walmart and if you keep your receipt and take it to customer service at least a day after it happens, they can pull up that cashiers ID # and find that she was over....or that terminal was over on coupons the day before and refund your money! :) Pain...but hey! Its our money and we deserve it back! lol

Someone on here said something about a $3 Van de Kamp's fishstick coupon on www.coupons.com . Previously, it was on smartsource. I just want to make sure it isn't really showing up on coupons.com under a different zipcode. Thanks!

After watching your video late last night, I couldn't wait to hit the travel area. Most of the time it's always excluded that size so I never really thing to go there. Let's just say between my 10 packs of huggies wipes, lol and the travel freebies it was a good day. I will never "buy" a degree again, got 4 for free plus $.03 each, my lady didn't even bother to to correct the overages....yeah for me!!

Collin,

Is "travel size" and "trial size" the same?

I was looking for the Q I could use on travel section items..but the Q I have or have seen say trial. Just wanted to see if they are indeed the same.

Loved the video! Just sat down and matched all my coupons to the list, and I will be at Walmart tomorrow night!!

Today (9/23) at Walmart, in front of the Nestle JuicyJuice bottles, there was a box stuck to the shelves with Nestle's 2009-2010 planning calendars in it -- the same ones we had to sign up for and wait for in the mail! i was *elated* to get a second chance at those free Dibs -- the ones i got with the calendar i received in the mail were found and consumed, despite my best attempts to hide them!

Anon - SS stands for Smart Source and RP stands for Red Plum. They are 2 of the coupon inserts that come in the papers. Hope this helps!

I had quite the time at my Walmart today - I've never used coupons there, so didn't know what to expect.

The cashier rang up my stuff, and then I handed over the coupons which then went flying all over! Some ended up in her garbage and she dug them out. I assumed she got them all, but I had a few problems wen I got done and looked at my receipt.

First I bought 1 italian sausage, but saw it 4 times on my receipt. I had purchased 4 1 lb packages of ground beef, but only one showed up so I see what she did. So I headed to customer service for my $1.08 back. When I looked further I noticed there were no 3.00 coupons - and I remembered I had the one for the soy candle. I assumed she missed it or it fell under the counter somewhere so the manager went back to the checkstand and looked - and nothing. So I returned the candle. Then when I got to my car I realized my Sara Lee $3.00 was not there either.

Really disappointed, but I guess I should have paid more attention at the time - and I will know what the total for my coupons are before hand too.

I did use the $2.00 coupons (5 of them) for the $1.78 Healthy choice meals.
