CVS: Possibly FREE Huggies Little Swimmers!

Wow! Marcy over at The Frugal Kennedys just emailed about finding an awesome clearance bargain at CVS! She was able to find the Huggies Little Swimmers on clearance for just $0.90! That's an amazing price by itself, but she also used the $2 coupon from here (IE or Firefox) to snag FREE Little Swimmers! Let us know if you're able to find these on clearance too!

***As with all clearance deals, they may or may not be available at your local CVS.

  7. Wow. We can use these almost year round in South Texas but our stores stopped stocking them several weeks ago. I just ordered them for ten bucks from Target.com
Looks like I will be going to CVS.
Thanks for posting this great deal.

  8. My sister got about 10 packs last week marked down to .50 / She didn't have the coupons but she cleaned off the shelf anyway for that price!!!

Also - Playskool Cottony Cloths wipes were $1.00 for the three pack wipes refill. They are getting rid of the Playskool brand and moving to just the CVS brand. So watch for deals on the Playskool diapers eventually too...

  11. At CVS are they in the clearance racks near the front of the store or back with the other diapers? Thanks!

  13. Just a heads up...I bought a ton of the palyskool wipes clearance and I can't stand the way they are scented. I still use them because wipes are wipes, but I can see why they are discontinued. You can also sign up on the little swimmers website and get 2 coupons for $1.50 off and yes--my receipt printed the $2.00 off, so I got a pack of swimmers for $5.50! Not bad.

  14. Saw a ton of clearanced (75% off) diapers yesterday - picked up a couple packs of Playskool newborn diapers for $2 each. They also had LOTS of larger size Pull-Ups, Pampers, and CVS brand diapers. Another customer was clearing them out. I'm in MN. HTH!

  15. I found these on clearance at one CVS in Central Florida. They were in their regular price in the diaper aisle and the shelf tag listed the normal price ($8.99 I believe) but they rang up at $0.89. I bought three so I could us the $2 off manny that came in my daughter's pool float and it went through without any problems. I couldn't find them at all at the other two CVS's I visited.

If you use the $2 off coupon CVS CRT, will it have to be adjusted down to the clearance price of one package or can you get the full $2 off if you buy more than one?

  16. Just a heads up.. my CVS doesn't allow you to use coupons on clearance items. Not sure if that's at the whim of the store mgr or not, but thought I'd mention it. Still a great price w/o coupon!

  18. Melissa. I had that same problem one day at one of my local stores and when I got home I called the 800 number and they said that was not a policy of theirs. They called the store and advised them they CAN and HAVE TO take coupons on clearance items and I went back later that day and got what I wanted. Just to let you know. Thank you!

  19. Not where I live, which is weird since we're looking at a weekend high of 35 degrees-- swimming season is definitely over here. Oh well, maybe we'll check again next week.

  20. You can also submit for .75 rebate per pack at caregivers marketplace.

Last year, I found a deal and bought all I'd ever need for two kids for better than free. :-)

  21. Wow! I just went to CVS yesterday but I will go back to check out the Little Swimmers-- I didn't even think about them being marked down. I got a $2 off CRT as well; wondering if I could get 2 for .90 each and use the CRT to get them for free?

  22. I had a problem with CVS manager not wanting to take my coupon lately too. I guess he though the coupon was too good of a deal so he wasn't going to allow it. I used the CoverGirl Buy Foundation get face product free coup. The face product was more than the Foundation (because most all face products ARE more than the cheap foundation). He decided I would get the Foundation free instead.
I told him I would be contacting Customer Service, And I did. Very nice company. Some Managers just get jealous. I don't understand- they DO get reimbursed for all accepted coups as long as we do it by the rules on the reciept, and I did.

  23. I'm thinking that at 90 cents a pack that I could try to find these and pick these up for emergencies. I've never used them before (I live in midwest-no beaches). Can you use them as a regular diaper or are they like really bulky or stiff and awkward.

I guess begger can't be choosers when diapers are this cheap, but I was just wondering. Hope I find them!

  24. i would never use them as regular diapers. My son peed through them while sitting in the carseat on the way to the pool. We don't have beaches here in idaho either...but we do have water parks and pools...which is where you specifically need them! they go on like pull ups..not like regular diapers

  25. Don't use them as regular diapers! They don't hold in the liquid, only the solids. I didn't see any on clearance here in suburban philly.
