I was expecting a brochure similar to the Back to School one, but it is more of a square coupon booklet. I have always wondered if there were people out there who got RRs and then returned the products;there's really no way for the stores to keep tabs on those things and it sure does make it harder for those of us who try to follow the rules. After yet another Register Reward near-nightmare today, I have finally just about totally switched my loyalty to CVS. It's not worth the headache of playing the Register Reward game anymore to me. =( I will hit the highlights, but too often the same parent companies offer RRs and I end up getting stuck with RRs and/or have to pay much more OOP than I would like. CVS is easy breezy!trash2cash4uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11722245134903749941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-90368481587066337.post-18980386236977668472009-09-05T14:40:04.205-05:002009-09-05T14:40:04.205-05:00Went to two Walgreens and both did not have the bo...Went to two Walgreens and both did not have the booklets (though had last month). One cashier said they would not have them any longer because people were using coupons, rebates, etc. then returning the products. I'm bummed since prior to this, they allowed me to combine them with manufacturers coupons. Oh well, I'll keep cutting and matching with sales. That must be how this store is getting around letting you use multiple. It even showed on the receipt that it was a MF Q and listed the product I bought. I have been "couponing" for awhile, but I assumed it was better to use MQs first in case the WAGS coupon made the price of the item go down below the MQ amount. My WAGS does not adjust coupons, BTW.
Also, has anyone had any luck finding the Healthy Savings coupon books? I have asked at several local stores and even the managers don't know what I'm talking about.
Lastly, I know I sound like a newbie here...but it's a learning process! For those who use RRs first; do you have any "tricks" when doing this? I am always afraid that despite my calculations, I might use a Register Reward but then not be able to use some of my MQs if I make an error and my total gets down too low. The store assistant manager tried to throw his weight around and tell me I couldn't do it. I went straight out the door and into my car in the parking lot and called their corporate office. I was told by corporate that he was 100% WRONG and to go back into the store because they were calling him pronto to have him apologize and scan BOTH of my coupons immediately.
