Hip2Save Chocolate Macadamia Brownies
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened (you could use applesauce too)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 bags of Mauna Loa Chocolate Macadamias
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 13x9-inch baking dish or pan. In a large bowl, cream brown sugar and butter together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl until well blended. Then mix in with the butter mixture. Put both bags of Chocolate Macadamias into a blender and blend until finely ground. Fold ground nuts into mixture. Spread batter evenly into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool at least 40 minutes before cutting into squares.
YUMMY!
Those look so good!!! Creative to use those nuts in them!
ReplyDeleteThey sound SO good - now I wish I would have bought more bags of nuts! lol
ReplyDeleteI am all over those brownies. We LOVE brownies in our house and with the 6 bags I bought, I will be baking later this week. Thanks for the great recipe. I have no idea where you find time to do all the things you do and update your website as many times as you do a day. You are totally awesome!
ReplyDeleteThose look delicious! You can't beat a chewy brownie - except maybe with a chewy brownie with macadamia nuts! :)
