**As with all restaurant freebies, I would highly recommend you call your local stores ahead of time to make sure they are participating.
I think Carvel is a better deal than ColdStone since at Cold Stone you have to donate in order to get a free ice cream which I don't think it's worth going to unless you're feeling generous.

ReplyDeleteCold stone is a great deal because you are helping a sick child and there family have a wish granted. I will personally be at cold stone with my 4 year old daughter who had her wish granted last year. Her wish was a huge blessing and help us get through a really hard time. It makes me sad that people are not willing to donate for a good cause even when they are getting ice cream in return.

ReplyDeleteI work at the University of Iowa hospital and have seen some tremendous wishes created due to the make a wish foundation. I have also had some friends growing up that got a wish granted due to make a wish foundation. It's a terrific organization. Unfortunately I have to work this evening or else I would be going to donate.
