Here are 2 great Kmart updates:
First, remember the Kellogg's Cereal deal I posted? Well, according to Amy, the cereal deal is actually giving $2.50 in overage!
Here's how it works:
Buy 5 select Kellogg’s Special K products and get $5 off instantly at checkout!
Deal Scenario:
Buy 5 boxes of Special K Cereal $12.50
Minus $5 off instantly at checkout=$7.50
Use 5 $1/1 coupons from here and here: IE or Firefox
(each coupon will be doubled to $2 since the cost of the cereal before the $5 instant discount is $2.50)
Final cost 5 boxes for FREE + $2.50 in overage to go toward other items! Wahoo!
*********************************
Also, if you still have those awesome $2/1 Discover card coupons--they are doubling! Which means $4 in FREE money for each coupon used. How cool! I would recommend stocking up on items that normally don't have coupons available for them. *Think* kitchen accessories, housewares, toys and more! (Thanks, Amy!)

can you only attach 1 discover card to 1 item?
ReplyDeleteQuick question on the Special K cereal:
ReplyDeleteWould the $5 instant savings come off before or after a $5/$50 K-Mart savings coupon?
With the Special K deal, I used 3 $1/1 coupons and should have had 50 overage, but for some reason my Kmart doubles only up to what you've spent- so, no overage for me. :(
ReplyDeleteOh man! The Discover coupon would have brought my total wayyyy down. Bummer!
ReplyDeleteAlso...Nature Source is printing $2.00 catalina when you purchase two (if you have a $1.50 Q they are Free)
And I found Juicy Juice 6 packs on clearance for $1.65. Use the .50/2 Q and get cheap juice PLUS a $1 catalina.
Anon-
ReplyDeletei just came back from Kmart and I used a 5 off 50 coupon and on the bottom of the receipt, it says 5 reward and 5 special k reward..something like that..so both will work
Yes you can only attach one discover coupon to one item.
ReplyDeleteThings I got FREE with the $2 discover coupons:
ReplyDelete(11) Purex $3.99
(3) Boys 5 packs socks $4 (on sale)
(3) Girls underwear $2.99 to $3.99
(4) Bath towels $3.99
I have 56 more coupons to use this week and I am super excited. I have some wonderful readers on my blog that sent me their coupons since they didn't have a Discover card!!!
Anon... if you only had 3 coupons you wouldn't get overage
ReplyDelete5 cereals = $12.50 - $6 (3 x $1 doubled) = $6.50 - $5 instant savings... you pay $1.50
Just wanted to know how the buy 1 get one free coupons work with the Kmart Doubles! Do you use 2 B1G1 free coupons in order to get both free or just use 1!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help!!
Actually my question was, does the $5 instant savings on the cereal come off before or after the $5/$50? I'm wondering if I'll have $12.50 to put toward the $50 worth of purchases or to count is as only $7.50 toward the $50 worth (if the $5 instant savings comes off before the $5/$50). TIA for any help!
ReplyDeletei assume you need a discover card right?
ReplyDeleteno you dont need a discover card.I used them and payed with my visa. LOL!
ReplyDeleteTo the Anon about the B1G1 coupons - If the item is under $2, KMart will double the B1G1 coupon and both items will be free. So you do not need 2 coupons. If the item is more than $2, then you would need one coupon for the first item (such as a $2 off coupon) and then you could use the B1G1 coupon for the second item to be free. My husband and I did this several times in the last two days at different KMarts and it worked every time.
ReplyDeleteJust to add - we found out that the Special K crackers that are at most KMarts are not a large enough size for the $5 off deal, so be careful. We had customer service looking all over the store for a larger sized box of crackers which they apparently don't keep in stock.
Good luck to everyone!
Thanks so much for posting the Kmart doubles deals. I just returned from the Fargo store where I bought $31.26 worth of stuff and paid $8.51. Perhaps not the amazing savings some people are reporting, but I got great deals on items I needed and otherwise would have bought elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteKatie, thanks for all your help on the B1G1 Free! I will try it and hope it works for me!!
ReplyDeleteI thought you had to have a discover card to use this coupon thats what I thought the coupon said?
ReplyDeleteI have used several bogo coupons for ziploc bags and others and mine have never doubled. Not sure why mine didn't. Anybody else have that problem?
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to add that some of the Special K cereals have tokens on the back of the box. Collect 5 and redeem for $10 off a pair of jeans! Icing on the cake!!!
