  1. According to the coupon policy, doesn't it mean that we can't use the coupon for these items since the coupon value is greater than the crackers?

"Whenever an item is on sale you can use a coupon on the item as long as the value of the coupon does not exceed the value of the item itself. For instance; if you have a coupon for a $1.00 off and the item is on sale for $0.99, the coupon cannot be used as it exceeds the value of the item being purchased."

I think that's a ridiculous policy. Every other store I know at least adjusts the coupon value...

  2. I was going to get the Wheat thins at CVS, but I may have to make a trip to Rite Aid.

Anyone have thoughts on the point Anon brought up?

  3. The coupon policy does state this, but at Rite Aid the coupon will still go through without any beeps, so I guess it depends on the cashier you get. I've never had issues with coupon overage there.

Also, the only way you can print 6 coupons is by accessing 3 different computers.

  4. I tried this last night...they won't accept the coupons since they are more than the purchase price.

  5. Sam-My store still takes the coupons for overages as long as you are paying something at the end like the filler idea.

  7. Darn, wish I hadn't used my 6 coupons at CVS to get these free earlier in the week. I should have saved them for the $3 moneymaker.

  8. They beeped for me and said item not found. When I showed them I did have the Wheat thins they said maybe they are not the right size. I pointed out it said on ANY size so they entered the coupons in manually. But I did have other items I was buying that day as well to cover the overage.

I picked up the Hershey's milk on clearance and use coupon. Plus my Rite Aid had Benedryl Sinus and Children's Tylenol on clearance for 75% off. Doesn't expire until 8/10 weird huh?

  9. My said the computer would not allow them to override the .01 profit. I suggested adjusting to .99 coupon, they said the computer wouldn't let them. I suggested adjusting the price of the wheat thins to 1.00. That worked!

  10. Went this morning, of course coupon beeped. I only bought 2, so used 2 coupons. They beeped and register said item not found. The cashier explained to me it was because of the item costing less than the $1.00 coupon. He manually pushed the coupons thru.

  11. Rite Aid adjusted the coupon amount for me today. He even wrote on the coupon 99 cents. I was impressed. This was the 1st time I went to this particular Rite Aid. I'll be shopping there again:)

  12. I got the last 2 boxes of wheat thins in the store, used 2 coupons and had no problem. Also used 2 hershey coupons and one for the finish diswasher tabs. All fine! Total including tax $3.95.

  13. This is my first time using a rebate, how do I do that? It said online or mail in at the store, but I can't find any information on the nabisco website. Can anyone help me?

BUT, I will try again tonight and try your suggestions. Thanks!
