I don't know what happened in the Old Navy post (I've since deleted it), but I'm pretty upset about the inappropriate comments that were posted. When I first started doing the Old Navy posts everyone was so friendly and we all helped each other out. I don't really know what has happened since them, but it seems now a few immature anonymous individuals are getting a thrill out of saying inappropriate things and being down right disrespectful.
I'm either going to have to start moderating all comments or just not do an Old Navy Weekly post anymore.

I use to sell on eBay a lot when I lived in the dorms at the U. I didn't have a job or any income, so I'd go shopping at stores that were closing and buy stuff to sell. I still occasionally will sell if I can buy something at a good deal or if I have something that I don't use anymore. I sell a lot of books, movies, and video games on Amazon and Half.com now. It's a nice way to get some money back on things you no longer use.

My hubby would be a motor head if I let him be. As a hobby it gets real expensive. He hasn't rebuilt an engine yet, but his dad and brother have, so he would have people to turn to when he hits a roadblock.
I have to see a high risk doctor because my pregnancies are high risk and he even said as long as everything stayed ok during the pregnancy that he would be my back up doctor if anything happened.
My CNM did 3 tours in Iraq on the surgical team and has worked in ICU and the ER for over 15 years, she's great at knowing what is an emergency and what is normal.

Trish I had the same thing with my first. it was an emergency C and i wasnt completely numb. Thank god my hubby wasnt in there yet. i was screaming and then i was hyperventilating and going into shock. it was the worst. I have med problems though and always have to be monitored in a hospital. i give a lot of credit to the moms who can do the home births and no meds and all that!

Yes and I have retained a lawyer...I didn't want to, but I had PTSD (Post tramatic stress disorder) for several months and had to see a birth trama specalist and then to make things really bad I had such sever depression I didn't want anything to do with my miracle baby that we wanted so badly and did fertility treatments to get. I robbed her of a great infancy because I was so messed up.

I would totally to a home birth but my hubby would never let me. I guess I will do them all the same-water birth at birth center with no meds. At least I convinced him that was okay. Didn't believe me until after it was over and it went great!

alot of the money I make goes to helping young single moms (most are teens). I donate Doula and Childbirth/Lactaction Education services to them and put together post partum care pacakges for them and new baby.
I passed out when they pulled her out of me...I was on morphine for 3 days I think they were hoping I wouldn't remember.
When they finally let my hubby in the room he thought I was dead, he could hear the screaming outside and then I was passed out when he was let into the room.

Giselg -- blogging takes a lot of work and time. I started it in hopes of earning some extra money (my fiance lost his job and we need any extra income we can get) and I was looking for freebies/coupons/deals/etc. all of the time anyways, so I figured I could blog about it. I started with Blogger back in Feb and then decided to expand and buy a domain name and switch to Wordpress. I'm not making a killing or anything with ad revenue, but it's fun to blog about things like this -- at least I think so. But it does take up a lot of time. Once I'm home, this is what I do all night -- sit and look for deals to blog about. When I don't blog, I feel guilty, like I'm letting my readers down.

awww trish thats horrible. i feel your pain. at least you all made it out ok right? when i was still in recovery there was all these news reports of two moms who died close by to me that had bad c-sections. they were fine one day and just died the next. i was totally freaked out cause a c-section was not the plan. it wasnt the plan for the second either but he was already in distress when i was in early labor so we didnt chance it.

Giselg - you'll want to make money off of it. The time that's required to put into a blog, you deserve something back from it. Anyone can search for deals, but many people don't have the time or resources to do it themselves, so it's only right for you to get something out of it for your time. So far I've only received 1 check since Feb for $150, but that's good enough for me. I put at least 4-6 hours a weekday and at least 8-10 hours a weekend day into my blog. It's a lot if you want readers.
