World Kitchen: Pyrex Baking Dishes $1.99!

World Kitchen has some HOT deals available! They've got quite a few Pyrex baking dishes priced at just $1.99. You can check them all out here. Plus, you can use this coupon code A20350 to get an additional 20% off. Please note that to get this coupon code to work, you'll need to check the box that says "Sign up to receive 20% off your order and future money saving offers from Shop World Kitchen!" --This box is found under your shipping address.

**If you purchase $19.99 or less, then shipping is $6.99. If you purchase up to $34.99 worth of items, then shipping is $8.95 and it goes up marginally from there. I would recommend at least purchasing a few items to make shipping worth it.

That's a great deal. I usually don't order when shipping is high, but I think this is definitely worth it. Thanks.

DON'T BUY THESE!!!!! THEY EXPLODE AT HIGH TEMPS. Pyrex used to be owned by Corning until they sold out to Chinese company, World Kitchen, who then changed the glass. These are sold cheap because they are cheap. Buy Anchor or any other brand. Don't believe me? Go on Snopes and look up Pyrex.

I heard the same thing. A few people have had them explode in there ovens and microwaves while cooking with them. Snopes says if you have a Pyrex dish thats 25 yrs or more old, then thats a real Corning Pyrex dish. Anything younger than that is made of the cheap stuff, soda lime glass, I think.

Last anon, Snopes is not real news. I'm a journalist, and that Web site is a joke!
Anyway, great deal!

These are cheap. My mother in law had dinner in one of them and she took it out of the oven and it shattered everywhere. It just broke in her hands. Luckily, it didn't cut her or get anything in her eye, but it was pretty scary!

I have had 20 year old pyrex break on me, so I think it can happen anytime.

I think I will stick to baking in old fashioned steel pans. As far as the microwave? I have never heard of a problem with ceramic dishes in the microwave.

Great deal!! I had to buy a wedding gift and I kept putting it off cause I didn't like being able to just buy a couple of towels on their registry. Now they are getting 6 dishes shipped for only $17.06. Sweet!!
