I have an amazing Christmas giveaway to tell all of you about, but first I want to let each of you know how much you're appreciated! I started this blog for friends and family in the spring of 2008 and since then my blog has grown and grown.. and grown! I cannot believe all the amazing readers I have. This blog would honestly NOT be possible without each and every one of you!
This year has been one of the best years of my life! I have three amazing kids, one amazing husband and so many amazing friends (that's all of you)! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
I really wish there was a way to express the gratitude I feel towards each of you, so this is where my giveaway comes in. First, let me say, I wish I could hand deliver a gift to every one of you, but that's just not possible... so instead I'm giving 20 of you one incredible gift!
I am giving 20 of my wonderful readers $100 to spend on Amazon.com... yes, $100! There are 2 rules to this giveaway--the first rule, you can only purchase items that qualify for Super Saver Shipping or Amazon Prime. And the other rule, $50 of the $100 dollars you get will be spent on toys of your choice to donate to Toys For Tots. The other $50 will go towards any item/items you want. You could get something for yourself, your hubby, your kids or anyone else!
This will be a 24 hour giveaway and I will announce the 20 winners tomorrow, 12/17 at 6pm EST! The 20 winners will then get to choose the $50 worth of toys they'd like to donate to Toys For Tots. All the toys will be shipped to me and then on one of my upcoming "Follow Me Monday" videos, you'll get to see me donate $1000 worth of toys! The winners will also email me what they'd like to get with the other $50. I will have these items shipped directly to them and they will receive them before Christmas! What am i most thankful for?
It is hard to choose just one. This month, my 3 1/2 year old son, who has global developmental delays as well as a sensory disorder, has began to say words.There are no words to say how thankful i am for that because back in April, he had no sounds at all. I am also thankful for my father. In November, he had a full liver transplant. He was dying from cancer of the liver and had just weeks left when the liver cane. He is now recovering nicely. For these things, we will celebrate and remember all that we have gained this year.
I found the blog by chance while looking for something else. It is by far my favorite now and i will admit that i check it several times per day. It has saved me tons and has allowed me to give my children things they would not otherwise have.

I am just grateful for every single day! 2 years ago at Christmas time my 19 year old sister died...and since then I have just been so grateful for the time I get to spend with those I love and care for, because you seriously NEVER KNOW what is going to happen or how much time you have. I'm thankful to be alive because a few years ago i was a reckless depressed teen who felt worthless and didn't want to live sometimes. I was very careless in my life and relationships. Then my appendix burst before i was about to get on a plane and had i gotten on i would have probably died in the air. my scar reminds me to be thankful for life and that I'm worth something. After that ordeal i lived on my own and it taught me how to be independent and not self reliant on men. This website helps me reach that goal further.

This year I am thankful for my family but most importantly my mom. The doctors declared my 60 year old mom legally blind and took away her driving privelages in October. Even though my mom has no peripheral vision, is completley blind at night and has limited daytime vision she continues to work her full time job, as well as donating countless volunteer hours to the Salvation Army and her church as well as MANY other charitable organizations. My mom does more for her community than most people, even with her handicap. I love my mom and I am so thankful for her.
I am thankful for people who are not closed minded. My wife and I had twins this year (I delivered), a boy and a girl (double blessings) and we were able to complete an adoption process so that both mothers are legally their parents!!! Horray!!!!! We couldn't be happier.

I am so thankful for my thankful kids. We have been opening Chanukah gifts for the last 5 days. Every night we have given them small gifts such as a t-shirt and snuggie one night (total $8). They have been so appreciative of their gifts. One night my 8 year old son said "let's just sit and look at the candles for a while before we open our gifts". Last night, his only gift was the Leap Frog Batman game (free). He opened it and said "thank you but I don't play my leapfrog anymore, can I exchange it for something else?" I was so worried that he would be upset as it was his only gift but he was so nice about it. Just when your kids are driving you batty, they turn around and are so thankful for everything they have.
