Compare Grocery Prices in your Area

*see links in the "Sites that Save" section

GroceryGuide.com is a service based out of Salt Lake City, Utah that compiles all U.S. grocery store sale data in a large database. You can search the database by zip code and store to retrieve sale items for where you live and shop.

GroceryGuide.com has a search engine that only allows you to compare 2 stores while the version provided at the bottom of the BellaOnline article allows you to select as many stores to compare as you desire!

Some helpful features that GroceryGuide.com provides are pricing graphs and product & store reviews. Click on "details" next to a sale item and you'll get a pricing graph that shows trends over the last 19 years, as well as reviews for the item and the store having the sale. You can set up an account with GroceryGuide.com to receive sale alerts. Once you're registered, navigate to "My Account" at the top of the page, then "Email Alerts". Enter the name of the item you'd like to get on sale, store name/s, and the day of the week you'd like your alert to be delivered (or when the sale begins). Check out the "Rating" column to see which sales are best.

We think this is a fantastic tool to compare weekly specials offered by local stores. It can be very useful when comparing your manufacturers coupons with weekly in store specials. Have fun & let us know what you think!

(Thanks to BellaOnline for providing such such a fabulous tool and educational info about GroceryGuide.com).
