Macadamia Brownie Recipe... YUMMY!

Alright, remember that great Walgreen's deal last week... snagging Mauna Loa Milk Chocolate Macadamias for ONLY .50 per bag! Well today I made some yummy use out of them and concocted this brownie recipe from scratch. These are absolutely delicious and super moist... I could not stop eating them. If you have any on hand I would highly recommend you try this recipe out!

Hip2Save Chocolate Macadamia Brownies
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened (you could use applesauce too)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 bags of Mauna Loa Chocolate Macadamias

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 13x9-inch baking dish or pan. In a large bowl, cream brown sugar and butter together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl until well blended. Then mix in with the butter mixture. Put both bags of Chocolate Macadamias into a blender and blend until finely ground. Fold ground nuts into mixture. Spread batter evenly into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool at least 40 minutes before cutting into squares.

YUMMY!

I am all over those brownies. We LOVE brownies in our house and with the 6 bags I bought, I will be baking later this week. Thanks for the great recipe. I have no idea where you find time to do all the things you do and update your website as many times as you do a day. You are totally awesome!

Those look delicious! You can't beat a chewy brownie - except maybe with a chewy brownie with macadamia nuts! :)
