My hubby and I, had a frugal date night last night, it consisted of stopping in Walgreen's and Rite Aid to snag a few deals! I'm sure my hubby just loved that! I gotta give him credit, though, for coming along and making the most of it and although, he may not tell his friends, he actually had fun!
The reason I stopped in Rite Aid last night was to get in on the FREE Denise Austin Video deal, as well as the awesome Huggies deal before it ended at midnight yesterday, January 24th. I ended up doing great... I think my hubby was getting sick of me saying over and over again... wow, I did great... can you believe I saved that much money!:)
Here's what I snagged:
1st Transaction
one package of Huggies Pull Ups $12.49
One Touch Ultra Mini Meter $19.99
Total=$32.48
Then use-
$5 off $25 purchase coupon
$20 One Touch coupon from the 1/4RP
(adjusted down to $19.99)
$2 Huggies Pull Ups coupon from the
Final expense $7.68 (that's including tax)
2nd Transaction
One Touch Ultra Mini Meter $19.99
Five Huggies Baby Wash products $2.50 each=$12.50
One Huggies Wipes $2.50

The best part is I will get back a $10 Rite Aid Gift card, a $2 Single Check Rebate and a FREE Denise Austin Workout DVD... making my total after all that ONLY $2.54! YAY!!
Now I know you cant do the above scenario anymore, BUT this got me thinking! The One Touch $20 coupons don't expire until January 31st, so we still have time to get some use out of them. The regular price of the One Touch Ultra Mini Meters at Rite Aid is $19.99, so they will be free this week too! The best part is the $5 off $25 purchase coupon is available too! Which means $5 in FREE items every time you purchase the One Touch Meter, add $5 in more items and use the $5 off $20 purchase coupon! (Oh and thanks to Annystribe for reminding me that free clinics and senior centers LOVE donations, so if your not going to use your meters, definitely think about donating them!)
