There is also a $1 coupon on any Carefree product in the Feb issue of Seventeen.
I'm looking at the coupon from 12/14 insert for Mentos.
it's for Mentos gum pocket bottle - The walgreens coupon is not for the bottle/gum packages. Have you tried using it? did it work?
Thank you
I have not tried it yet. I just wasn't sure when looking at the ad, if the Mentos Gum were also included in the Walgreen's sale. Your right, though, if the Walgreen's in ad coupon wont scan for the the Mentos gum then this deal wont work.
I will be trying it later this week and let you know how it goes.
The $1.50 Colgate coupon looks like a scanned copy. Where did this come from?
The Colgate coupon is from a PDF Aetna Online pamphlet. Southern Savers downloaded the coupon and saved it to her computer. She also removed the full pamphlet, so not as much ink would be used when printing. I will go ahead and update the post with a link to the full pamphlet too, so you can see where the coupon is coming from.
How does the $10 RR for buying 8 Degree or 8 Dove products work? My Walgreens has a limit of 3 so how do you get the 8 necessary for the $10 RR? Thank you for your awesome blog!
Jennifer,
The Degree & Dove deal are YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) type situations. The cash register will except them all but the cashier may not. Ive honestly never had problems buying more then the limit states. Most of the time for me, the cashiers dont even look to see what the limit is. Just go in and give it a try.
You could also buy 4 Degree and 4 Dove products, that way it wont look like your buying so many of one item and you should still get the $10RR for buying 8 total.
There are also other items that qualify for the $10RR too. Under Walgreen's in the Store Specific category is all the Walgreen's current RR deals. Go look and see what other items qualify that you may want to purchase as well.
Hope this helps!:)
Just a heads up I tried this deal and it didn't work for me but at least I can offer what I learned.
The Men's Degree in the $1.99 coupon advertisement DOES NOT qualify for the RR. I got this info from the Catalina people this morning.
Depending on your location the $0.75 off coupon for the Degree Ultra Clear may or may not work with this scenario as well. It is not advertised and does not ring up for $1.99 with the coupon. Depending how nice your cashier/manager is you may still be able to get it for $1.99 because technically it is not excluded on the coupon.
i hope that helps. Good Luck.
Coupon Girl,
Thanks for the heads up!
These items below I know qualify for the RR deal:
Dove Clinical Protection Cool Essential, 1.7 oz.
Degree Ultra Clear Absolute Protection
Degree Anti-Perspirant Solid Clinical Clean, 1.7 oz
Degree Anti-Perspirant Ultra Clear Pure Satin, 2.6 oz
Degree Anti-Perspirant Ultra Clear Cool Essentials, 2.6 oz
This is so good to know. I tried this exact deal as well, and my Walgreens is very "finicky" about doing more than the limit of the coupon. When she finally did it, the catalina didn't print out. Then after calling Catalina this morning myself, I realized that the Degree I bought doesn't qualify, as it was the larger size. I may go back to try again, but I'm sad because I used a 2RR on my deal last night as well as a $1 man coupon. Oh well, I'm living and learning :)
I tried to take advantage of the rebate for the Walmart brand medicine combined with the B1G1 free offer. My rebate was denied because they said the one you get for free does not count.
I cant believe they wont except your submission. That makes no sense! For the $10 rebate, it doesn't state anywhere that they will not except your rebate if you purchase 3 of the items for free. You also should have gotten at least a $5 credit for the 3 you did "pay" for. I would call Walgreen's EasySaver program number-888-324-3028. Explain the situation to them. From my experience they are very understanding and Im guessing will end up giving you the $10 rebate.
Let me know what happens if you get a chance!
