Love your blog! Quick question: Is anyone else having trouble printing this coupon or the trail mix cerael coupon? I have tried two different computers and those coupons will not open on either one???
Thanks!
I have heard that using Firefox instead of IE and changing your printer settings to “Print Directly to Printer” fix this problem.
You do this by going into the Control Panel, left click on Printers, highlight Your Printer Icon then right click to drop down the menu, left click on Properties, choose the Advanced tab, down in the middle you will see where you can choose “Print Directly to Printer” (choose that), then hit apply if it is highlighted and then OK.
See if that works and let me know!:)
I'm not able to print them either. I tried your instructions, which were very detailed and I needed that, but the last step "print directly to printer" was not one of my options. Guess I'm out of luck on this one!
I didn't have that option on my printer control panel either...i also installed Firefox and then it said there was an internal processing error when it went to print the coupon...oh well...
I am having trouble printing this one too, in fact, usually the only time I can print a smartsource coupon is directly from their site and when I am using Firefox. I tried your Print Directly from Printer tip, but it didn't work. If you hear of any other fixes, I love to know, thanks!
I am having all the same problems! It seem to maybe be a problem with Java? I'm not computer savvy... I've had this problem with other smart source coupons too. Does it use a different coupon printer than coupons.com? --Tricia
Yes, I think it does. I can print brick and coupons.com coupons just fine, but I too am constantly having problems with SmartSource.
We have Windows Vista on our laptop and I read somewhere that may be the problem.
I also had trouble printing. I had an old verison of Java (1.4) and needed a 1.5 or more...so, I upgraded. It took a minute or more for it to print...but it eventually did. I also did Firefox and am getting the Hershey's coupon to print now...where it didn't on my other IE.
