Target-$5 Gift Card On Select Kellogg's Products!

One of my readers emailed to let me know that Target has a new Kellogg's $5 gift card deal that has already started! Buy 5 select Kellogg's products and get a $5 Target gift card. Some of the items included in the deal are Pop-Tarts (12 ct ONLY), Nutrigrain Bars, Special K Bars and more. If your unsure if a Kellogg's item is included in the gift card offer (some will not have signs by them), then just scan the item. If the gift card shows up next to the price then their included in the gift card promotion. You can supposedly get up to two $5 Gift cards per transaction.

Here is a deal scenario:
Buy 10 boxes of Pop Tarts (12 ct) $2.54 each=$25.40
Plus use five $1/2 manuf. coupons from the 1/18RP
You can also print .55/1 coupons from here
Pay $15.40 + Tax
Get back two $5 Gift Cards
Final cost 10 larges boxes for ONLY $5.40!

Note: If you can find $1 Pop Tart Peelie coupons, then your total will be as low as 10 boxes for .40!

Check out all the Target weekly deals here. You can also click here to find out how to snag the High School Musical 3 DVD on the cheap!

I am a newbie, but I looked at the Target coupon, which says 1 coupon per transaction. Will they let you use 5 coupons in 1 transaction?

This is a YMMV (your mileage may vary) type situation. Your cashier may or may not let you do it. I have never had a problem using more then one "like" coupon. Targets coupon policy states you can use one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon on the same item, so if you buying 10 boxes of Pop-Tarts you should be able to use 5 $1/2 Target coupons.

I am going to blog about this but have been hesitant because of the wording in the new Target coupons. The problem is that the cashier has all the right to refuse more than one Target coupon. I just really hate for my readers to get in a frustrating experience.

Mercedes,

I completely understand... I was a little hesitant as well. I felt, though, that it was too good of a deal to not post.

I visited Target today and it's the larger packages not the 8ct that are on sale. The larger packages were on sale for $2.54 each, buy 5 get the $5 gc. I did a price check on the 8ct boxes and they did not have the gc symbol on the screen. Still a very good deal.

I have to agree with Jamie. I just got back from Target to do this deal and it's the 12 count Pop Tarts that are on the deal. Still bought five of the large boxes, one of the small boxes, used 3 target coupons and 6 mfg. coupons and with the $5 gift card, it cost me $3.36. Still a great deal!
