After hitting up Kmart this morning I went over to Target. I was hoping they would still have some 90% off Valentines items and they actually had quite a few different things left. I was able to snag Valentine cup cake mix and decorating kits for only .49 per box. Once I got home the kiddos and I made some. Well, lets just say they weren't the tastiest things. I also snagged Valentines candy and stickers ranging in price from .21-.39! Some of these items will go great in my kiddos Easter Baskets.I was exited to find 10 (12 ct) boxes of Pop-Tarts priced at $2.89 each and was able to use 5 $1/2 Target coupons, plus 5 $1/2 manuf. coupons... and got back two $5 Target gift cards. Oh and I also found Goldfish priced at $1.79 and was able to use the $1 target coupon to get them for just .79... not bad!

Great Trip!
We had gotten a box of the cupcakes a few days ago and made them tonight and yes, they were not good at all. My 2 yr. that licks a plate clean that had something sweet one it, even got to the cupcake and said she didn't want it. Haha. Oh well, the liked the candy and it was fun to make.
I was at the Target here in Cincinnati tonight, and they have Pop Tarts for 2.54 but no offer for a gift card. Venus razors were regular price. Any idea why they would not be on sale here?

I'm not quite sure why they wouldn't be on sale. Sometimes, though, at my local Target they are very slow about putting up gift card signs and other sale prices. Next time you're at Target you may want to price check the Pop-Tarts and Gillette Razors to see if the gift card promo and sale price shows up.
I tried to buy the soap buddies that were on sell for .97 and they wouldn't let me use the $1 off coupon because they said that it exceeded the sales price...any advice?? thanks!
That is a YMMV situation, some cashiers will say yes some won't. You could either try buying 2 and using one $1 coupon or asking if they would adjust the coupon down.
If I'm buying anything with overage I always try to make sure to have a few other items that I'm purchasing as well.
