Thanks so much for posting this deal. I have the coloring book & look forward to purchasing these products for our baby & I'll have extras for gift baskets plus I can also donate to the local crisis pregnancy center. Thanks again!

I am looking at the Walgreens Instant coupon from the coloring book, say powder 22 oz., lotion 15 oz., oil 14 oz.

Will this coupon still work for the soothing vapor bath or wash? have you tried this deal?
Thanks!

Hi,

One of my readers emailed me this deal yesterday. I haven't tried it yet, but will be later this week. I know for sure, though, that the 15 oz. Johnson's Lotions and 14. oz. Johnson's Baby Oils will work with the Walgreens coloring book coupon and with the RR deal.

Please note that some of the coupon links print coupons that expired on April 1st.

April 1st?

It's only March 2nd!:)

i did the J&J deal today..wanted to let u know..i bought 3 lotions @ $3.36(=$10.08), 3 oils and 2 powders @$3.21(=$16.05)..total was $26.13..gave $8 in manufacture Q’s and one walgreens Q from the coloring book which took off $6( should have taken off $8, but maybe limit was 6?)..anyways i paid $12.13 plus tax..got back $10 in RR, so final cost $2.13 plus tax for 8 J&J products..not bad..i had to use candy as fillers so the register wouldnt beep. hope this helps someone who has babies like me:)

YAY! I'm so happy you were able to score such sweet deals!:)

I think the reason it only deducted $6 from the Walgreens coupon was maybe because of the size baby powder you purchased. The Walgreens coupon is for the 22 oz. and the RR deal is for the 15 oz.

Thanks for posting this deal! I'm having our 5th baby in June and I know four others who are pregnant, too! One is a single mom and could really use some help, so hopefully this deal will work for me and I can share the wealth!

However, the first three links did not work for me. When I went to print the coupons I got a white screen that said "please wait..." at the top. I have a Mac, could this be the problem. This happens to me all the time on good coupons! Anyone have any help?

Thanks again for the deal info!

Hip2Save said...

Hi Julie,
Try this (with thanks to the Freebie Blogger):

If you want to print Bricks coupons on a MAC with Safari, replace the “wg”, “wi”, or “vi” to “xs” in the coupon link.

I've read from numerous people that this will fix the problem. Let me know if it works for you!:)

Anonymous said...

Congrats on being linked to by THE Money Saving Mom!

Anonymous said...

Julie, the same thing happen to me all the time and I use window.
The "xs" didn't work for me.

Thanks, Dani!:)

The coloring book coupon didn;t work on the powder because the coupon is for the bigger size (22oz) not the smaller size that's part of the RR deal.

Cool - I've been thinking I need to use more coloring book coupons before they expire and this is perfect. Thank you!

Can someone please help me with this. I tried it tonight and it didn't work. I bought $25 work of product and had $1 MC for each item. I paid between $3.99 and $2.99 for each item. I didn't have the coloring book coupon but figured I didn't need just the extra $1. I didn't get the RR. Did I need the coloring book coupon? If so I am willing to trade some of my MC's for a coloring book coupon. Please help.

Kelly said...

Also, the manager said it didn't work because when I used the coupons it took the total below $25 but that doesn't make sense and it seems to be working for some people. Where is the offer listed I couldn't find it in any of the Walgreens flyers or easy savers.
thanks for helping

Hip2Save said...

Kelly,

Look over your products and make sure you got the right size. These items qualify for the RR:Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath, Wash, Lotion, Shampoo (15 oz.), or oil (14 oz.). If you purchased the wrong size that is probably why the RR didn't print. If you didn't, though, then you can call the catalina company, with your receipt in hand, and explain to them what happened. Their number is 1-888-8coupon. They will send you an RR in the mail if you did in fact purchase the correct items for the Register Reward promotion. It may take a few weeks, but it's worth the wait.

Oh and to answer your other question the manager is not correct. Your total can dip below $25 after manuf. coupons and you should still get the RR.

The RR offer is listed on page 11 of my ad. Yours may be on a different page, though.

Kelly said...

My ad only has 8 pages and it is not in my easy saver. I live in Utah could that have anything do with it. That was part of the problem. The manager couldn't find it printed anywhere that this was the offer. Thanks for much for helping.

Hip2Save said...

Kelly,

It may be a regional deal. I'm not positive, though. I would go ahead and call catalina anyway. They may still send you a $10RR.

Thanks for the tip! Just linked you. :o)

Does anyone know yet if the baby wash will work with the Walgreens coupon?

Hip2Save said...

Kelly,

From what I've read it doesn't look like the baby wash will work with the Walgreens coupon.

Anonymous said...

Hey
I tried this at 2 different Walgreens and they said that once your coupons brought you below the $25 you would not get the register rewards so I just gave up. Is this true and how do you get a round it?

Hip2Save said...

That is not true at all. As long as your total is above $25 before coupons the Register Reward WILL print. Sometimes the cashiers and managers don't know what their talking about when it comes to the Register Reward promotions they offer.

Next time they tell you that just say you would still like to do the deal anyway.

I have this Walgreens Coloring Book coupon but I never got to use it smoothly although I am buying the correct item. I tried to use this for the Flintstones vitamins deal before and it beeped. Maybe because my store is a new one?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Anonymous said...

P.S. I'm just afraid it might beep again when I do this deal and some cashiers and managers are very hard on customers when it comes to using coupons..

Anonymous said...

I just got back. The deal will work, but ONLY on certain products! This is a tricky one because you have three different things going on: the RR, the manu coupons, and the store coupon. I believe for it to work you can only purchase the baby lotions. Be sure you are paying CLOSE attention!! I selected the correct items for the manu coupons and the RR, but I goofed on the store coupon and apparently purchased 4 items that it didn't cover. So the store coupon only took off $4 as opposed to $8. I ended up paying about $1 a bottle...not $0.11 good, but still a pretty good deal in my book.

Bottom line...this WILL work...just make sure to read the fine print on all three items (RR, manu coupon, store coupon) to make sure each of them works for you.

I hope this has been helpful! Thanks Hip2Save for sharing this deal. It came just in time for a baby shower....!

So do you get $8 off with the coloring book coupon? I don't see how my total can get down to .88. I thought the coloring book coupon was for $1 off the total- so I wanted to take advantage of it anyway, but the lowest I could make my total with my 8 items, and $1 per item, is $7.50 with the $10 RR factored in. It doesn't make sense to me- and I usually can figure out these coupon quandries. HELP!!!

Anonymous said...

Just did it- but only saved $6 from the coloring book coupon- I am guessing because of the powder. Oh well- still a great deal! Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Can anyone post the UPC of the coloring book from which they used JNJ coupon? I have been personally at two stores and gone through all the coloring books and found no coupon in any of those books

Jenny said...

I just got back from Walgreens. Thanks for the heads up. I posted details of how it worked for me at my blog, if anyone is interested:

Hip2Save said...

Brooke,

The coloring book coupon is for $1 off, but if you buy lets say 8 bottle of J&J Lotion it will take off $8, even though you're only using one coupon.

All Walgreens coupons work this way. They will deduct the amount off each qaulifying item purchased. I hope that makes sense!:)

where do i get the color book i want to do this for my grandaughter ty gerri

Hip2Save said...

You can find the coloring book near the pharmacy or in the toy section with the rest of the coloring books. I have a link with the picture of the coloring book in my post above.

ok, lemme help some of u ppl, the register will beep if u have more coupons than items..if u buy like 8 J&J and u have * manufacture Q's then the walgreens Q u have to know that because the walgreens coloring bookk will take off $1 from each item , it is cosidered as 8 q's, so in actuallity u have 16 coupons but only 8 items, so u need at least 8 "filler: items..go for easter pencils, or cheap candy , anything basically that doesnt have coupons..remember if u dont want the register to beep always count your items and total coupons(even if a ONE walgreen coupon is needed for an advertised product it is considered as many times as u are purchasing that product)..i bought 8 J&J, had 8 manufacture Q, one coloring book one, for atotal of 16 q's in actuallity, so i picked up 8 cheapest candy, for the register to "attach" the extra q's to..also always use manufacture q's first..

Anonymous said...

Hi samea -
I actually do not think that is correct. The Wags Coupon does not attach itself to the items only Manf. coupons and RR do. So if you are using 8 Manf. coupons and a RR you need 9 items and you can still use the Walgreens coupon with out having the register beep. This is how it has worked for me.

Brooke said...

O.k. that makes sense. So the $1 coupon really makes it $8 off in the end- or $6 or whatever. Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Hi,
I really would like to get this deal work. I tried it yesterday, bought 1 baby wash more than $5, 3 baby lotion 3.74 each and 3 baby oil 3.59 each. Total exceeded 25 without coupon. Used several coupons including a dove 10 dollar RR. Did not get 10 dollar RR. Do you think it is the Dove 10 dollar RR's reason that I did not get another 10 dollar RR? Manager told me that I used coupons and made the total lower than $25. I know it was not true.

Hip2Save said...

As long as you purchased the correct sizes that I listed in my post above you should have received the RR. I would go ahead and call catalina directly (1-888-8COUPON), with your receipt available. They should be able to mail you a $10 Register Reward.

Anonymous said...

thanks angelica..i will try your strategy..i just hate it when the register beeps, some cashiers look at you like u're conning them..we're just out smarting them:)

Anonymous said...

Help! What should I do may Walgreens coupon from the coloring books did not deducted $1 from each of my eight bottles. Do you know why? The coupon didn't have a limit of one. This is how my purchase went: bought 8 bottles of J&J 15oz, gave cashier 8 mfg plus 1 Walgreens coupon from coloring book - I paid $22.60 and recieved $10 RR back. Is this correct?
Thanks!!

Hip2Save said...

The Walgreens coloring book is tricky and will ONLY work on these items:
powder 22 oz., lotion 15 oz., or oil 14 oz.

If you purchased hair products or body wash or not the correct sizes then the coloring book coupon won't deduct the $1 off each one.

Sorry for all the confusion!

i asked my manager about the upc number of the coupon he said o, so can anyone give e the number to J and J and also the hggies? thanks in advance

Hip2Save said...

The J&J coupon code is:
0 00000 05852 0

The Huggies Code:
0 00000 05857 5

Anonymous said...

You cannot use a RR coupon on any RR deal. They canx each other out. This is a new policy effective the first of the year.

sjohnson73 said...

JulieM, if you can't use a RR on a RR deal then it might just be a regional thing, because I do it all the time, and have never had problems. I am going to try this deal tomorrow, I tried to write down everything that I am supposed to do. I hope it works!

Hip2Save said...

JulieM,

I have never had a problem rolling different Register Rewards deals. In fact, yesterday I used a $10RR from the Dove deal to pay for a new transaction and then I got a $3RR back for the Kashi cereal purchased.

Lots of times store employess will say this, but it is not the case. However, you will NOT be able to roll the same RR deals. Meaning you can't use the $10RR from the Dove to pay for a new Dove Deal.

tressa1220 said...

Is the Johnson's RR deal only good through 3/7? Or is it a monthly deal?

Hip2Save said...

The J&J deal is good all month long!:)

I tried two stores at TX. The manager told me coupons from color book only can get $1.00 off for ONE time only, so I can't take $8.00 off for eight bottles. I told other people did it. The manager said in the end of day, they will get trouble allowing shoppers to using more than one bottle. They said if it's Walgreen coupon, it could apply as many products like buying more than three Dove bar soap with one coupon (it shows limit 3). But, the cashier's screen shows the coupon from color book is MFC, so it's manufacture's coupon. They only can be used for one transaction.

Hip2Save said...

That's NOT true at all. The coloring book coupons are Walgreens Instant Value coupons and can be use just like walgreens EasySaver coupons or In ad coupons. NO where on the coupon does it state manuf. coupon.

Anonymous said...

Do you know if the coloring book is still available at walgreens, if so is it in the children's toy aisle? Thanks so much!! Love your blog!!

Anonymous said...

Hi,
I hope I can use the coupon from the color book for many times, but I did see the chashie's check out screen. It showed MFC, so it's not manufactuers' coupons. They only can take off $1.00 once. I went to two stores, and they told me the same thing. I think you are just lucky to get $8.00 off.

I know it didn't state at the color book, but it did show on the screen, so managers can't take of anything more than $1.00.. So basically, we can't really use this coupon to save more than $1.00.

Hip2Save said...

I've used this coupon numerous times at different stores and its always deducted $1 off each item purchased.

If you look at the comments its also worked for other people.

Hip2Save said...

The Coloring book may be available, or may not. I would look in the toy section and also over by the pharmacy.

Anonymous said...

is the 25% off J&J all month long?

Hip2Save said...

No, the 25% off sale is only good through this Saturday.

WiJoyMom said...

I did this deal at my store (WI) and the coloring book coupon took off $8 for 8 bottles (5 lotion & 3 oil, items stated on coupon). UPC on book, 3 11917 09527 1

I picked the bottles/type of J&J that had the red tag on the shelf/right infront of it, describing it as part of the RR deal.

Should I have asked to keep my Walgreens coloring book coupon?

I paid with the Dove/Unilever $10 RR and did receive the $10 RR from this Johnson deal. I also used manufacturer coupons.

The machine also printed out a coupon "save $3 off any 3 Johnsons or Desitin products". Has anyone else gotten that? and then used it towards this same deal again? It says Redeemable at Walgreens UPC on it, 038137-012190

Hip2Save said...

You did great!:)

I got the J&J coupon too after purchasing them and yes it should work fine to use towards another J&J deal.

WiJoyMom said...

Today I was able to get a raincheck on the J&J items, sale price...so, I can get the sale price (25% off) and still get the $10 RR since it goes til March 28th.

Anonymous said...

hi, just wanted to say thanks..the coloring book code u provided worked really well..i'm praying the huggies will work tomorrow..i love u for all that u have taught me and helped me with with my tight budget..

Anonymous said...

Thank so much. I don't even have children and this was such a good deal. Two of my friends are having babies real soon. On my first attempt I did it wrong because I got 3 lotions, 4 oils and one powder but the 22 oz size and I received no RR. The manager and the cashier said it didn't work because my total was below the 25. Then I looked over the details and went back in and got my transaction voided and exchanged my 22 oz powder for the 15 oz and then I received my 10 RR much to the amazement of the cashier. All for 11.13 plus tax. Thanks again!

the J&J deal includes vicks, so can we mix them in with the J&J? also there was vicks coloring book Q..needed the code for that..
