I was in Rite Aid this morning and I bought 2 packages of Huggies daipers. I was told that I could only use one of them because the coupon said one coupon per purchase. The manager came and said the same thing and would not allow me to use 2 coupons for 2 items. Then I went to Walgreens and the same thing happened. I tried to use 3 Kashi cereal coupons and was told I could only use one of them. The manager came and read the coupon and said that the coupon says one coupon per purchase. :( Sad shopping day.

You need to call corporat about this... for both Walgreens and Rite Aid. That is totally wrong. The wording one per purchase means one per item purchased, so if you purchase 3 "like" items you would be able to use 3 coupons. If a coupon states one per transaction or customer, then that is when you can only use one like coupon.

If you call or email corporate about this, they will probably end up calling each store and setting them straight. You may even get a gift card or additional store coupons for having to deal with them NOT even understanding how coupons work.
