I did the Quaker deal this morning. LOTS more variety in products that qualify for this deal than what is simply listed in the ad. I also picked up some Silk soy milk because that stuff gets guzzled in my house and $2 is a great price. The cashier told me they were no longer accepting printable coupons because of fraud. It was the Target printable! I pointed this out and she said they only accepted originals. So I asked her where I could get original Target coupons if the ones on the website were not accepted. She stood there confused, then radioed her manager. She asked him the question 3 times and each time he told her to take the printable TARGET coupon. She was still confused but did it anyway...
Rebecca,
That is so funny... I had to laugh! I cannot believe how many Target cashiers don't even realize that the Target printable coupons COME from the Target site! I wish all their employees were required to go through a coupon training course!
Loving these Target deals...THANK YOU!!
MOtt's is 1.69 at my store, so .14 a 6 pack is unbelievable!!! I will be back there a couple more times this week!!
Maureen
I had grabbed a bunch of Target $3/3 Quaker Fiber Bars coupons when they had a sample event several weeks ago, so on top of the $1/1 printables and the gift card, I made a $1.50 profit on six boxes of them!
Am I seeing free CFL Energy Smart lightbulbs this week? $1 price in the ad and $1 printables on the GE lighting website. Will this work? Thought I'd come ask a master couponer....
And I have some $2 off wyb 2 q's too....?
I could be nuts. If I am just say so.
Kerri,
I must be blind!!:)
I can't find the lightbulbs advertised for $1, what page of the ad did you see these advertised?
Page 13, lower left corner. "Energy Smart 60 W-equivalent CFL light bulb"...Sale $1.
Right under the patio set for $129.
Do we have different ads??
Kerri,
I am laughing so hard right now!:)
I just found it, but in my ad they're on sale for $5! Wow, that is a HUGE price difference. What state do you live in?
That is so odd! It is just a single CFL lightbulb that is pictured. It says "GE EnergySmart 60W-equivalent CFL light bulb" and then "Other seleced GE CFL and Long Life bulbs also on sale".
I am in southeast Iowa. Noticed a few people on HCW are talking about it in the Target forum, but not too many.
The Target nearest to me is about 25 miles away, (50 round trip!!)but there's a chance I will be able to get my q's down there today with a friend. If I am able to send them with her and it works, I'll let you know. Tried to PM at WalMart but my local store doesn't carry the single bulbs. Boo!
I live in MN and the light bulbs are also in the Target ad for $1....
also, I used to work at Target in mgmt...the trainig they give cashiers is not very thorough at all, and customers can see that. The good thing is they are not fussy about coupons. The reason cashiers are confused is there used to be these Target coupons for like $5 or $10 off a purchase and people would make fraud copies of them costing Target a lot of money...so I can see where they are kind of confused :)
Another tip....if you see something ring up at a price you think is wrong, be vocal about it! Cashiers are trained to give it to the customer, generally, at the price they think they saw if it is under $20...it's an efficiency thing!
It worked. I sent my q's with a friend and she was able to get 10 lightbulbs for free. Nice! Thank you Target!!
She said the lightbulb aisle only had 2 in it and they were almost hidden, but there was an endcap that had more.
Kerri,
Thanks so much for letting me know. I will go ahead and post this deal!:)
I had problems with my Mott's q's today. Cashier AND manager both refused to take target q in addition to a mfr q.
I called corporate today, and they were so apologetic. They told me that at the cust service desk there is a red phone that you can pick up and be on the line with corporate, and to use that phone next time this problem arises.
I don't hear of many people having q probs at target, but I thought knowing about the red phone was good info!!!
Maureen
Don't forget about the Target Market Pantry soup with the $.50/2 Target coupon.
Thanks so much, Maureen! I didn't know about that... Great info!
FYI - I did the Shout stain remover deal and it was $2.04, so 29 cents after the two coupons! Score!
Maureen, I always have problems with coupons at Target. I have 2 around me and one of them is notoriously bad for accepting coupons even their own Target ones. I had trouble with the mott's coupons but this time the shift supervisor knew that both a Target coupon and MFR coupon could be used. I don't know what's up with the registers though the coupons beeped "item not found". This happens to me all the time too.
The Artisan Bread printable coupon at Target is another great one. It is for $1.00 and there is some really nice crusty bread for .99!
Had another great trip to Target today. Spent $27.00 and saved $60.00!!! Thanks to Hip2save!
