Thank you so much!! I am so excited. I was going to bed & walked over to turn the computer off. I checked the sites one last time & there is was. I know I will not be able to go to sleep now. Oh, well! I just get so excited about fun deals like this! Between my 3 computers, I will be able to stock up for my own family & still donate several to charity. This is great!!! What a payoff!!!

How can you use a BOGO free coupon with a BOGO free deal and get them both for free? Wouldn't you still have to pay for one? What am I missing?

So how does it work at CVS? Do you buy one, and then you get 2 for free- ending up with 3 total? Or do you just get 2 free? please explain how you do this? thanks

Hip2Save- just wanted to let you know that inside those Bic Soliel shaver boxes are coupons for $2.00 off replacement blades, and those are on clearance as well at my WAGS!!! LOVE it!

Hey guys,
What you'll do is bring 2 Purex det. up to the counter and then hand over one bogo coupon which will end up making both free, so long as the cashier writes the amount of the regulare priced one on the coupon. You get one free from the stores sale and one free from the manufacturer.

You can read more of my thoughts on this topic here-

Does CVS have to honor this coupon? Should you speak to a manager if the cashier won't accept it? Should you explain you are getting one free from CVS and one from the manufacturer? If they don't accept it would it be best to call CVS corporate while in the store? Thanks

At my CVS (in coastal GA), the girl balked a little at the Purex coupon and said she didn't know if I could use that coupon, but I just said "hmmm" noncommittally and picked up something to read while she was ringing my stuff up. She scanned the coupon and it worked! I got 2 Pert and 2 Purex for $3.83. Thanks for always sharing such great deals with us!

Got it! Thank you thank you thank you!

Thanks!

Hi Hip2Save, Thanks for the zip code-I got my 2 Purex coupons. Also, thanks for letting us know CVS has them B1G1. With the Colgate coupon, I thought, let me try my brother's zip code and it worked. Your welcome.

Jenna said...

thank you so much, unfortunately we don't have a CVS where I live, but maybe someone else will have a B1G1 deal soon

So I was a little bit nervous and scared but I went to CVS and used my 2 coupons. I scored 4 free bottles of laundry detergent. What a great deal!! Thanks a million!

Just did this at lunch. The grumpy cashier didn't want to let me do it, said "It's already get one free, you can't use both." I whipped out a CVS coupon policy email where I had highlighted that you can so she begrudgingly gave me the 4 for free.
I also got $3 ECB's!!

Thanks, printed this morning and dropped off kids at school and went right to CVS and got 4 bottles for 95 cents. What a great deal.

Anonymous said...

When it says a limit of four, does that mean you can only do this twice? Or is it 4 deals>?

Lori said...

I did this today and only paid $1.35 (the tax) for 4 bottles!

Amanda said...

I just did this deal and like a lot of others the cashier said I couldn't do that. I didn't have the coupon policy with my but from reading this blog and others I knew that the coupon policy says I can. I politely told them that according to their coupon policy I could. They called a manager and same thing. So she said she would have to call someone. Like that was going to make me give up on my free soap!! I just went back to looking around the store and they came and found me with a receipt and 4 bottles of FREE Purex!! It was a very happy moment but I tried not to gloat in front of them!!

Amanda said...

Does anyone know where you can print their coupon policy I have looked all over the website but I can't find it. I want to be prepared next time :-)

Anonymous said...

They wouldn't let me do it :( I'm going to try another CVS later on in the day

sara said...

I'd love a copy of their coupon policy as well. Sarah - if you still have their email could you send it to me?

I did it today and the (normally) grumpy cashier tried to give me attitude. I talked to the manager and she didn't want to do it, but had no good reason not to. So she did.
I had to remind them that this was a man. q and the other was a store deal. Anyway, after a few moments she did it and I got my free laundry detergent. I really hate it when they act like we are stealing from them. We have just figured out how to work their system to the best savings possible. They act like its coming out of their paycheck!!! I'm getting better about standing up for myself in these circumstances.

I can't get this coupon with any of the zip codes, either. =( I didn't think I had a CVS so I emailed this post to my sister in Boston when I first saw it. She was able to snag 4 free detergents! Well when I was up last night bored bc of OldNavyWeekly, I checked to make sure we don't have CVS and it turns out we do! Only now I can't get the coupon! How in the world do you find all these deals? You seriously rock!

Anyone out there that would like to trade Huggies diapers coupons for Pull-Ups coupons in preparation for doubles at Kmart?! I don't use Pull-Ups but have two kids that use diapers. I have at least 4 of the $2 off Pull-Ups coupons. And my parents can print off 2 more. Comment on my blog if you are interested. =P

Thanks for posting this awesome coupon. I appreciate ALL of your good tips. Really - you've changed my WHOLE outlook on shopping and sales.

I went to CVS and the cashier gave me SOOO much trouble - she basically said I couldn't use it b/c of their sale BOGO. Then I tried buying 2 with their sale and then buying a third one to use the coupon so I could get 3 for the price of one and she wouldn't go for that either. By the end of it, I felt pretty fed up AND humiliated so I just took my coupons and went to Target. They had a sale last week for 56 washes for $4.50 - so I just used them there.

I was really upset though. I was going to call CVS and everything. I even gave the arguement on how the manufacturer would pay CVS for me using the coupon. Maybe with experience I won't give up so easily. I did say that other CVS's were excepting them (told her about your blog) and she was very emphatic when she said that those CVS's shouldn't be doing it and that they're wrong. Whatever - she acted like I was taking money out of her own pocket!!! Geez!!
