Walgreens: FREE Dr. Scholl's + $10 Profit!

UPDATE: I have been gone for most of the day running errands and snagging some great Old Navy buys, with my $75 off $100 coupon! I did NOT realize this $10 coupon was for a different product then the select products Walgreens has on sale. I didn't receive the coupon myself and didn't get a chance to look in to it more before leaving. I apologize for that and don't condone using coupons for not the intended purpose.

Well, I didn't know about this high value Dr. Scholl's regional coupon, until now! I received an email from one of my readers, Nicole, letting me know that there was a $10 off one Dr. Scholl's regional coupon available in the 4/26SS! If you received this, then you're in for a sweet deal at Walgreens!

Dr. Scholl's Insoles 2/$20=$10RR (on 2)
Use two $10 coupons from the 4/26SS
Pay tax
Then get back a $10 Register Reward!
Final FREE + a $10 moneymaker!

If you didn't receive this coupon you can order them off eBay. Right now it looks like 20 $10 coupons are going for $2.50 shipped... not bad! Keep in mind that this is a weekly Register Reward deal at Walgreens, so you most likely won't receive the coupons in time. However, this deal may be available again in the coming weeks and these coupons don't expire until 6/30 either!

Are there any reports of this qpon beeping since it is not for the right product that is on sale :(

Anonymous said...

this manuq is for the Dr. Scholl's Custom FIt Orthic Insert not the regular stuff that is on the shelf... I am not daring enough to try if it will beep which is why I asked..

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know if the Q is in the DFW sunday paper? Thnx

I would love to know if it works on the regular insoles becase I plan to go to Walgreens in about an hour. Has anyone tried to use the $10 off on the register reward deal this week?

The coupon is for a different insert.

The coupon that expires on 6/30 is for 'Custom Fit' Orthotic Inserts Product, which is on a special display. From what I remember from the ad, you enter measurements or something into the machine and it will figure your orthotics???

I have orthotics that are fitted and molded at the shoe store by specialists, so I know they aren't just cut like regular insoles.

Don't think my Walg has such a display, therefore I don't think this will work here, otherwise it would be a great deal.

Anon, I didn't see it in the DFW SS. Sorry.

The coupons work for this deal, have done it several times.

I only have a $2 MQ :(

Linda said...

It works? YIPPPEEEE, I'm going to get my FREEEEE insoles!!!!

tp47832 said...

linda, did you use the wrong coupon or did your coupon say for any dr. scholls?

Anonymous said...

That coupon is for the custom fit inserts and NOT the ones that are on the shelves (that you cut to size yourself.) The coupon MAY work but, just because it works doesn't mean that you should do it. Misusing coupons like that hurts all of us that are trying to be ethical couponers.

Anonymous said...

I didn't realalize it was for a certain insert! Haven't ever used any of them just saw that it was a $10 moneymaker!

Dr. Scholls Massaging Gel and Memory Fit are on promo this week. Both are available in (2) sizes for men and women.

hth!

Anon: I don't think there is such a thing as an ethical couponer....somewhere, sometime, you most likely did something unethical with your coupons. For instance, when you pritn a coupon off of a web-site, do you hit the back button and print more? ;) If the coupon goes thru, I don't see a problem. They are going to get reimbursed anyway. I shouldn't be punished because their system accepts my coupons because people like you ride on some high horse and think you are better than the rest of us.

I am afraid to go to Walgreens this week with all the problems with RR and coupons. I want to buy 2 inserts and use the $2 coupon and a $5 RR but I'm afraid the $10 RR won't print. Anyone else having problems?

Anonymous said...

it is NOT unethical to hit the back button to print an extra time. after you print the 2nd coupon, it will tell you your print limit has been reached. please dont use that as a sorry excuse to cover YOUR wrong doing.

Everyone PLEASE do not use this coupon since it is not for that product. it will RUIN it for the rest of us.

Hey Hip2Save!

I don't know if you have heard of this site yet, but I just found it today and it's great!

It's bogofetcher.com and what it does is tell you ALL the BOGO deals in your area! You can also have them emailed. So, if you haven't heard of it yet, you should check it out! Could be the source of new deal-findings?

Thanks for all you do!

I believe they will still get their money back for the coupon, so there are no worries there I don't think. If it goes through, I would say it's okay & not to worry about it. It's definitely worth a try. Wish I had the coupon!

The $10 coupon works on the ones on sale...i've gotten 20 free inserts and $100 in RR! Great Deal!

Anonymous said...

Anon-

I'm so jealous that you were able to score so many deals :)

And I agree with the other person - if the store gets reimbursed, they I don't see it as coupon fraud. I am glad that people can use their coupons to their own advantage. We are not ruining it for others, just sharing our special knowledge :) :) :) go ahead and use your coupons people! woo hoo!

ANON:

It IS indeed unethical to press the back button and print another coupon (not that I care if others do- good for you), especially on a deal where there really doesn't seem to be a print limit.

My example: the Nivea coupon that was posted last week. There wasn't a print limit, but others printed so many coupons that Nivea took their coupon down...not every coupon only lets you hit the back button once. I'm sure most people tried to print more than two. We are not ruining it for everyone. You can do what you feel is right for you, and I can do what is right for me. You don't need to preach to us all. We are here to share GREAT deals!

Where is this working at? And where are you located Hip2save? Thanks...

Works in central & southern IN...was in Sunday paper from Indy then in our local paper that's only $.5o yesterday!!! Needless to say i bought several of those:-)

If the store does get paid, even though they do not carry the product, they *will not* get to keep their money if they are audited, because that has been a fraudulent use of coupons...they submitted for something they never carried...and 'you' caused them that problem. I don't know if there is a penalty in addition to this, especially if a number of coupons, or a certain dollar amt is submitted. They have to validate that they sold a certain number of items between certain dates.

Submitting coupons for which a retailer cannot be paid is the reason retailers decide to quit taking coupons-so wake up! Be honest, as you should be anyway! "It only takes one or two people to spoil it for the rest of us," as quoted for the reason my grocery store no longer accepts IP Q. It's a shame when 1 or 2 abuse the rights or rules printed on the Q's.

Does that mean I have never made a mistake? No, I am not perfect. Do I intentionaly defraud? No! Play honest so that you can continue to keep earning your rewards of couponing and saving your family money. WAKE UP!!!

Coupon misredemption occurs whenever someone attempts to redeem a coupon that is void for a product that he/she has NOT purchased. This activity is often in violation of Federal or State laws.

For the record...I did not have my coupon on me and did not understand what was up with the whole thing when I left my comment earlier. I did have two $10 off orthodontics coupons, but they did not work for this deal. Not because the register wouldn't recognize the coupon, but because the cashier would not ring it through. I did not attempt to do anything "unethical", I accepted the fact that it was for another product and produced the $2 off coupons and paid what everyone else would have. I didn't force the issue or yell and try to get my way, say forget and continue to try to use coupons till I got a cashier to not pay attention and take it. I just accepted that it was not what I thought it was and got my RR and left the store a very happy, polite shopper. I think it's a little crazy that there is a debate going over what I thought was a great deal.

I think some people need to get a life :)

there are bigger worries out there than not being able to use an IP coupon....

Anonymous said...

From the web-site given: did you read this? I sure hope you all aren't buying or selling coupons as that is fraud as well - maybe do the research first
! (http://www.cents-off.com/faq.cfm)

Can I sell my extra coupons?
No, there is no legitimate way to sell your unwanted coupons.

The sale or transfer of coupons is a violation of virtually all manufacturers’ coupon redemption policies. These policies are generally printed on the coupons or is available from the manufacturer upon request. The sale or transfer voids the coupon.

Persons purchasing coupons have often been associated with organized criminal activities. They often purchase the coupons as one aspect of a scheme to defraud the coupon issuers/manufacturers, usually by seeking to redeem coupons without purchasing any products. Individuals selling coupons to such crime rings have been charged with and convicted of criminal violations.

or...

Can I buy coupons?
No, there are good reasons not to purchase coupons. In addition to being in violation of the manufacturers’ policies, it simply does not make sense to pay for something that is given away for free.

Coupons being sold on the Internet or by other means may be stolen property or counterfeit. Individuals attempting to use these coupons may be subject to prosecution.

Why are there so many anonymous comments on here? If you are sure your right, don't be afraid to say the truth and stand behind it!

THESE ARE JUST MY OPINIONS ;) but thought I would join in on the convo...

When people sell coupons on eBay there is a disclaimer saying they are not selling the coupon but their time for clipping and sorting! I don't see why "buying" someone's time is bad? I do find it funny when people end up paying close to face value for the coupon. (hence the Kraft coupons on eBay.. people were selling 10 $1.50 for $12.00... not much of a savings huh?)

For instance, last week, I was out of town and only could purchase 2 newspapers due to my luggage. There happened not to be any coupons I would need more then 2 of but if there were I would have looked into buying more online.

I do agree that you should not use a coupon for an item that is not it. The company puts out a coupon for a reason and will stop putting coupons out if they are not generating the business they were looking for..

Do think about others when printing off online coupons, or in the stores. I know alot of people here in Souh Florida went crazy with the recent Garnier shampoo coupon and bought every last one off the shelves so there were not any left for other couponers. ( ended up only getting 2 due to all the stores being sold out within the 1st day!) Do go ahead and print your two coupons that it allows but please do think twice before using another computer to print another two..

Thanks for listening!

It does actually make sense to buy unwanted coupons even if they are given away to that person if it benefits you. Why are people so offended by couponers. I would like to know who this anonymous person is. They must be a Walgreen's manager! LOL! If coupons were not business games there would not be any coupons anyway. We are just playing the game.

Shopping frugal,

You are so refreshing!

On a side note: Did you all hear that Kmart doubles/triples might be back? Check out the post here:

If anyone has a question about walgreens register rewards please let me know, I work at walgreens. To answer why some of the RR don't print out when you use another is quite simple. If you use a register to buy a product that you have already gotten a register reward for it will not print. For example: The nivea is 4.99 this week with a 5 dollar RR. If you recieve the RR and then in another transaction and use that same register to buy another nivea it will not print out the coupon, whether it be the same day or another day. Each RR has a specific coupon linked to whatever product gave you that RR.

Anonymous said...

Dear Anonymous; I used a $1 manu q to purchase nivea and used a bayer $5 rr and the rr did not print. I had to return it. I tried this twice. What am I doing wrong?? Was it the coupon or the RR?

Eden C. said...

Shopping Frugal, that WAS refreshing! I love it when people say what they think without being offensive or over offended. Thank you.

Michelle, I guess you were right about the Walgreens person. :)

Amy F said...

I do not think there is not anything wrong with printing off another computer--If the manufacture wanted their to be a limit per person , the coupon would say one per household--which some of them do.

Amy F said...

Wow! I just read my last comment--forgive the grammar! I forgot to proof read it!

Anonymous said...

Food for thought:

Just because you are comfortable with something does not make it right.

Just because something makes you uncomfortable does not make it wrong.

As with anything, I think there are degrees of culpability in this issue--not everything is black and white.

I also think that for some, if they can get away with something they will. It is truly up to the manufacturers to devise a less fraud-able system, if they really are worried about it.

you all are going to miss the old navy hunt if you keep talking about this. hehe..

i used the $10 at my walgreens with sale and it worked great!!

Hi Collin, I sure missed a lot going on in this post today. What are the little trash cans for? I know it's "delete"...does that mean we can delete something we don't like or is that for you to delete?

Anonymous said...

I'm in SW MI and I used my coupons last night and received the RR. Great deal!

Anonymous said...

Is this seriously any worse than being someone who sits at home, capable of working but NOT working because we buy them food(that would be the people that work) and give them cheap housing? Nope, didn't think so!

Anonymous said...

Agree with that last comment and geting ready to head out the door for some more!

Anonymous said...

really LOL about this...funny stuff!

Anonymous said...

This is my opinion

Manufacturer make the coupon
walgreens make the ad x the sale
manuf create the reinmursement of the 10RR based on the barcode. If the barcode don't belong to that item...should not go trough. If it does.....GOOD FOR YOU and If CAT machine print the reward TWO THUMBS UP for you.Is not our fault company didn't check that.
Even if 2 people said they will not used it I bet you $5bucks they will do.

Guess What...this deal is good all month!!:-)
