Wow! I have some great news for all of you that are having trouble printing the KFC free grilled chicken meal coupons. You can now download the coupon directly from the Oprah site! This coupon is only available to download from 9 a.m. CDT on May 5, 2009, to 9:59 p.m. CDT on May 6, 2009.
Oh and by the way, we just finished up eating our yummy FREE KFC meals and did I mention how much I love their chicken. We normally don't grab a bite to eat at KFC, but this promotion has made me realize that we may have to stop in more often!

Did you have any problems using the coupons? Did you use four at one time for your entire family? Husband is working late, so thinking of taking the girls for dinner.
Uhhhh....since this is a PDF, how is there a print limit?
I downloaded the coupon from that site on two different computers and all of the numbers are the same
yeah all the numbers are the same so you can print as many as you want right. My numbers are 050409014
I believe it is the numbers at the top right code that give info on your ip address and all of that. Right?
my numbers at the top right are 0012345678901234
I printed it earlier from bricks and they are totally different and it only let me print 1

My top numbers are the same too! I guess that means it is one generic number for everyone? But, really, how much chicken can we eat between now and then. Consider all the MSG, etc!

My top right numbers are the same as yours. It's weird they put this out as a pdf file. The limit is 4 prints but I don't understand how they are going to control the printing with this being a pdf file.

When I printed it earlier today, they did give me two different coupons. (the numbers were different)
But, with this one, my numbers are

We were able to use all 4 of them tonight. We had a great cashier who didn't have a problem taking any of them. We all drank water, so we didn't pay anything... not even tax!:)
I printed the coupon earlier 4x and went straight to KFC and we enjoyed the meal. If we had to pay it would of been $5.69.
So is it wrong to print more than 4 or did they put it in PDF so that we could print more than 4??
I think Oprah made a pdf file for it because everyone was having such trouble getting them and you know Oprah if her name is on it it will be right.
It states right in the terms that you are only allowed 4 downloads.
It says: "You are limited to 4 downloads of coupon. Coupon fraud is punishable by law."
I think that is pretty generous for free food!
I already tried masking the IP for extra coupons. It's the coupon software that most likely tracks the number of coupons you printed.
This coupon made a great meal for my family of 6.

I printed mine from Brick's too - it let me print 4, all with different numbers. I went tonight. The manager came over and checked them against a sheet that had all these different things circled on them (I guess to show them how to catch fraudulent coupons..) but mine were all legit. It was pretty tasty!
I'm wondering who has the time to write in and complain about this site posting to a link on Oprah's site. Shouldn't you be focusing your attacks more on Oprah, and not this girl? I know many women who worship Oprah and wait for her to tell them what to read, buy, do, etc, but it is still ok to go after her for posting a pdf and leave this girl alone. Oh well, enjoy your chicken!
I was finally able to print the coupon on your original link. I was able to print 3.
Can I just say that I did not think anyone was attacking Hip2Save for posting the link. I think it was a general discussion of the intent of how this new pdf coupon was to be used. I know you are just trying help us the best way possible. Thanks!

i printed the PDF first, then went to the Brick's site since the PDF has all the same barcode numbers, don't want to get there and find out that i can't use them... was able to print out all 4, sent 2 to my mother (who has no computer) :)

I live in Knoxville TN, I tried to use coupon I got from oprah web site during my lunch hour, but the cashier told me I was too late, the store only give away first 75 free order daily, what should we do? go to the store when they open in the morning?
My husband and I went after work today - everything worked great! It was a nice meal and plus, since Arby's was a block away, we got our free FruiTea there, too. A full meal for free! You can't beat that - it was a nice mid-week treat. Thanks so much for posting all these great deals.
I used two of these today and it went smooth. The manager did comment(not to me) that the store had already given away $1000 in free meals and it was only 3pm. Everyone who walked through the doors had a coupon. We were unable to select our own sides but hey free is free(the chicken was kinda gross)! Thanks Oprah!
update for thursday-our local restaurant is saying that KFC is no longer accepting these coupons so if you didnt get yours already, you are just out of luck. :(
I took the two coupons I was able to print to my local KFC this afternoon (Thursday) and they would not take them. They gave me a form to mail to KFC Corporate in Louisville, KY with a note that stated that "Due to overwhelming demand ... we're unable to offer it to you today." "Please fill out this form, attach your coupon, and we'll send you a coupon for your free meal at a later date, plus a free Pepsi with our compliments. Thank you for your understanding." I was excited to try it with my daughter, what a let-down to get turned away with your child. By the way, I didn't print any of the PDF's I've heard about, my coupons printed as bricks and have the different numbers on each one.
They informed that no more Free meals for now and should be taking place all over they give you "a rain check mail in" to spread the meals out over time. To many people at once. Said should have info on their site soon regarding this.
I got the same raincheck form to mail in. They had grilled chicken to purchase though.
I stopped by my local KFC at 12:05 PM today for my free meal. Seems they are no longer honoring the free meal coupon. I was given a rain check to mail in for it. When it will come, Lord knows. Ohhh, with the rain check they are giving you a free Pepsi. Considering the 6 miles travel, a stamp and envelope, just doesn't come up to the cost of a free Pepsi..... Can ya tell, I am hungry?
KFC must be trying to compete with the delicious McRib sandwich from McDonald's; it's hard to resist those yummy painted-on grill-lines...
