Holy cow! I honestly thought there were going to be some fights at my local store. It was a madhouse. ...But well worth it. : )

People were filling there bags and buggies full of shoes. I guess they didn't know about the limit.

I went not realizing the amount of people that were going to be there. The line in the mall waiting to get in was about 100 people at least! I didn't even stay there were so many people!! :)

SO not worth it to me to save such a small amount.

OMG...i had no idea it would be that crazy. People screaming, pushing, fighting just for flip flops. Luckly we were able to get ours with no problems, i was worried because i brought my kids. They couldn't believe how the peolpe were acting. I don't think Old Navy was prepared for such a crowd, they handled it very poorly :(

I didn't go to my ON flip flop sale. I didn't think it was worth my gas and time for only 5 flip flops.

I wonder if they stuck to the limit?

My Old Navy definitely stuck to the limit. There were fights and people grabbing flip flops from other people....Then, the line to check out....don't even get me started!

OMG, drove past my old navy twice, didn't bother finding a parking space... the store is so small i wouldn't have been able to get in the doors!

I am reading your responses and I can't believe there were fights in your area. There were a lot of people at my ON but no fights (lol). ON was pretty organized and were bringing out the flip flops in intervals so it was not that bad. I went with my mom and sister and we got total 15 flip flops.

I may have gone if I had my daughter and husband to grab 5. But the mall is about 45 minutes away and gas is like $2.68 a gallon so was not worth it for myself and 5 flips.

I went yesterday since I was going to Target anyway and bought 4 new pair. I'm good alllll summer.

Now...all I need is some Croc's for my 2 year old and I'm set. But Macy's didn't have them this year?! bummer

The Old Navy here was pretty packed and of course there were the pushers and shovers (as will be at any "bargain" event). But we didn't have too much trouble navigating around. My husband and I ended up getting 11 pairs total because I couldn't choose between kelly and lime green! lol But I was definitley prepared to put back my 1 if needed. :) They were not limiting people at all. There were other shoppers with at least 20-30 pairs!!

I went to Old Navy today also and it was jam packed i was able to get the ones I wanted from people who had so many and went through them and realized they didn't need them. I didn't think it would be so hectic because the limit of five but there was no limit. I didn't like the fact that they hadn't stocked up on the childrens flip flops but all in all it was ok I manage to get the ones I went for.

Arent they only 2 for $5.00 anyways??? Why would anyone want 10 pairs of flip flops from old navy????? 1.50 savings isnt worth my time.

Anonymous you would not be saving $ . You would be saving $1.50 . You would be saving $3.00 And for me its not just about a deal. I have fun as well.

I agree - not worth the effort for $1.50 a pair! And who needs 5 or 10 pair??? You can take this savings thing way to far and be a glutton...

I enjoy saving on things that I would buy anyway, but some people get way to into 'collecting' - which is all it is if you don't need it. Kinda turns you off of being 'thrifty' whe you see the way people treat each other over things like this. Makes you think that if we didn't evolve from animals, we are evolving INTO animals...

OMG, "who needs 5 or 10 pair"? I DO! I have like 20 pair of flip flops...you can never have to many. Our O.N. was WAAAYYYY unorganized and apparently didn't expect the crowd they had because they were sold out QUICK. And no one knew where the end of the line was. BIG ARGUEMENTS! and flying flip flops!

We waited in line over 2 hours for 20 pair of flip flops, 5 each for the entire family of 4. It was crazy. People were filling up bags with everything theycould get their hands on and then going through them in line and passing them on.

Oh my gosh, my store locked it's doors at 9:30! People had to wait outside in a line for people to get checked out...then they let them in two or three at a time! They stuck to the limit.

AND I AGREE, you can never have enough flip flops!! 5 isn't even than many when you're buying for 4 people...

I didn't realize it was such a big event! The line wrapped around the store twice and there were NO parking spots... we had to wait in line to even GET to the parking lot. I decided to opt out as I have a 5-month old who is BF. The line was going to be a 3 hr. wait!!!!! and the only colors left were black, brown, and white... and none in my size ne way!! I did get free mints that one of the ON workers was passing out... so at least something for free!! I'm glad I already have 100 pair of flip flops ne way!!

All i can say is ...OH MY...i took my 2 and 3 year old with me...ridicuouly thinking I would go in and pick a pair or two! Oh my gosh, people were like vultures. My little boy got pummeled. I could NOT believe it. I did manage to snag 5 pair and 1 pair for my little girl..I guess that pleased her :)

Old Navy needs to better plan for this event next year if they do it again! They shoudl have spread out the flip flops instead of putting them all together!

Omg !! flying flip flops! LOL

Ya know, I was even at the mall and walked right past Old Navy yesterday, but didn't bother to stop in for the flip flops. I don't know... even $1 seems a little high for such a small piece of rubber.
