Well, it looks like I haven't missed the Old Navy coupons resetting! Yesterday We went to the beach with friends and then had a BBQ, so I was off the computer most of the day. It felt great to take a relaxing little break from blogging!I will be listing the CVS, Rite Aid and Target deals throughout the day, but I did want to make sure I got this Old Navy post up... just in case they decide to reset sooner versus later!

My daughter and I went yesterday to the $3 tees. I bought 4 and she bought 4 (5 limit).
I was going to get my husband some, but pretty much all of them were gone! Only about a hand full of M and S left. They only had 1 table of mens...and a small small table of mens solid colors with OLD NAVY across the chest and it had about 4 S left. :( But they had about 4 large tables of womens! I wish they would get more mens tees.
OH..and i wish they would keep toddler boy flips stocked more often. My baby needs brown! lol.

I was visiting the U.S yesterday (Buffalo) from Canada and I got a whole bunch of awesome tees. They had so many and in all sizes so I was pretty shocked. Also scored some great clothes for my daughter at 50% off clearance.

It my understanding that the reset will happen at 3pm today! There will be a limit of 1 chance per IP address once the page pops up you will have one try at the big one then your IP will be blocked! for the entire week. This gives everyone an equal chance at scoring one. If you have been locked from the big one you will still have a chance at getting a lower value coupon.

No melissa I think you've gotten confused. The real carla gave a link a few weeks ago with a screen shot of the new page & it was right & she also gave info on where to find one of the coupons before everyone else figured it out & she as right. It's not always 100% correct but sometimes she's pretty close.

THE OLD NAVY SITE DOES NOT BLOCK YOU GUYS !!!!! I KNOW FROM FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. I WAS ABLE TO TAKE TH QUIZ 2 TIMES. I FAILED THE FIRST TIME AND WAS ABLE TO GET THE COUPON SECOND TIME. SO CARLA IS WRONG ABOUT THAT ONE.

ON has changed the site this week so the coupons do not go in 20 seconds. This week you will have one chance at the "task" then be blocked form the big one.

If you do not want to trust me, that is your choice. I have no problem with that. All I am saying is that nobody, and let me repeat NOBODY has any prior knowledge of the coupon resets. Not even us employees. In fact, the time that they are reset is computer generated .

Like I said it is computer generated so not even the Old Navy people know when their site will refresh. They just decide the amount of coupons that will go into the resetting.
I don't fully trust this IP Address theory b/c it's easy to reset your modem and get a new IP. I'm quite certain the "hackers" are fully aware how to reset them and get new IP's.

I agree with Delilah. They cant block anybody from the site because changing your IP address is not hard. I am not that computer literate and even I know how to do it. So that would make no sense for them to do that.

Deliliah you cannot get a new IP address by resetting your modem every computer has it's own IP address no matter what network you use. So you could get on one network with one computer and get on another network and it will still be listed under the same IP address.
It is possible to change a computers IP address, but it's not a quick & easy process
Ana for networks working with router, you can change them. I have changed mine many times.
I have also changed my desktops IP too .

I think the ON site does not make itself there are programers that set up the page and know where the Qs are hidden and roughly when the qs will reset because they wrote the program. I don't think Mike would really know this unless he specifically works in the IT dept or is in direct relation to the webmaster for Oldnavyweekly.com. Who know Carla might know so of these thing because she does have a direct relation with someone that works on the site.
I'm not saying I believe all of what anyone says but I do know that the times I stayed up & hunted Qs Carla had a few insights that turned out true that no one else had.
As for the IPs we all know this is just a suggestion to TRY to discourage people from getting multiples but we all know there are ways around things like that.

Here's how to renew/release your IP address:
Click the Start menu button on the Windows taskbar.
Click Run... on this menu.

Type 'ipconfig' (without the quotes) to view the status of the computer's IP address(es).

Type 'ipconfig /renew' to obtain a new IP address (whether or not the computer is holding a current address).
Old Navy, Gap, Banana Rupublic are all stupid stores who are quickly losing customers to this stupid coupon crap. Why would I want to go in there and spend an hour making sure I hit a total of $100 so I can get $75 off? Why do I need to spend hours in front of my computer to get a coupon that is almost INSTANTLY STOLEN by computer hackers? They probably aren't even HACKERS, but Old Navy trying to stir up drama and get even more people interested in this damn search.

delilah: There is a difference bewteen a Static IP adress and a Dynamic IP. Dynamic is what can be changed via the router but does not identify a computer it identifies a router and does change with the router reset a static IP identies the computer and it is permanent.

Unless you pay your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for a Static IP than it can change. I used to work for a local ISP. Static IP's are limited and have to be registered with ARIN.

Delilah I understand that but there is 2 types of IPs and I believe it is the underlying static IP that the coupons identify with to determine if the user has already recieved their Q. But give it a try when the Qs reload and see if it works. Every computer, router, and network combo is different.
For example are you able to print 2 q from coupons.com reset your router and print 2 more? My network, router & computer do not allow me to do that because my Static IP is the same even though my dynamic is differnt.

You can't immediately change your IP address, the "hackers" aren't doing that. They are probably a bunch of family and friends, sitting around on walkie-talkies and laptops and a huge list of e-mails and passwords, and they find the coupons and start e-mailing and going down their list.
Then they go and sell them on ebay illegally and make money. How gay is that. Old Navy should have just stopped the whole thing weeks ago

Mykkyya ~ I get my printer ink off ebay. I buy expired cartridges & they work perfectly (and are SO much cheaper than buying in the store). Try that!
I try to remember to do that, and then I need to print something in a hurry and I am out of ink, but I will try to remember to stock up, thanks for the info. When I had my Epson, I would stock up when they had their killer online deals, but I had to switch to a cheapy HP when my Epson finally gave up the ghost.
