Regal Entertainment is offering up a FREE 10 week Film Festival for kids and families this summer! Every Tuesday and Wednesday starting at 10 a.m. they will be giving away FREE PG & G movie tickets. Dang...the only one in Missouri is all the way out in Saint Louis..a 3 hour drive for me! :o(

We do this every summer. It generally is VERY crowded, however my theater usually has 3 or 4 theaters going for each movie (they do a PG and a G each time). I think it is rare not to get in as long as you are willing to wait in the line, though I guess that depends on the size of your market, too. Hint: Bring your own snacks - the concession lines are WAY worse than the ticket line! Of course, anyone reading this will already do that. :)
I found out the one in the Kansas City area is the Dickensen Theaters (I know for sure it's the one out in Lee's Summit)
Their passes are 12.50 for both adults and children for an 8 week long "film festival"
