I just received an e-mail that my burnless bakeware order I placed on May 4th isn't going to be sent unless I pay $7.95 for shipping. They said this is due to the fact that I cancelled my trial membership with Privacy Matters 1-2-3. Anyone else had this problem?

I have not recd that message but if I do I will let you know.

Thanks! It worked and I got 2 by pressing the browser back a couple times.

Thanks so much for your posts! They are helpful.

One thing I have trouble getting my head around, though, is the final cost.

For the Smart Ones, for example, the cost is actually $14. That is what I would pay for them.

Receiving a $5 gift card means I could get $5 more worth of stuff for the initial $14 investment. But the cost to me is still $14.

Guess I just think about it differently, but it seems the final cost as listed is a bit misleading.

Thanks again for all of your hard work.

Liz, I am with you on this, but I figure it's just how you want to look at it.

You can think that whatever you buy with the gift card is FREE.

OR you can buy something you were going to anyway (with the gift card) and apply that $5 savings back to the meals. So 90 cent meals when you spend $5 on something.

I was able to print two -- thanks for the work in getting the link to work for us!

Liz--I totally understand what you mean. I made a post about this very thing on my blog...you should check it out. It explains the logic behind doing the gift cards, RR and ECB when you don't necessarily want to spend OOP for those items.

A question on using coupons for a "gift pack" like at target the dove gift packs with body wash, deoderant, shampoo etc. can you use one coupon like a dove body wash coupon on that product?? Thanks

Liz,
I understand what you are saying about the OOP expense...sometimes I get a checker that will let me use the gift card at Target on the purchase I am making. I always ask and most of the time they let me. If they do not, then I move on. I am all about the least amount OOP. Just a thought that might work with this deal.

Liz,
I like to look at it as:
I am paying $14, but I'm walking out of that door with $19 worth of goods.

I know it's confusing :)

Thank you:)

The way I have been doing the Target gift card deals is this:The first time I "bit the bullet" and paid the oop. I kept that gift card and the next time there was a gift card deal I wanted to do I paid for it with the first gift card so except for that first time I am seeing the full savings and spending little oop.Hope this helps.

I've never bought Smart Ones, which ones are actually good?? I don't generally buy frozen meals, but I do buy Lean Cuisine from time to time.

Wow, thanks everyone for your helpful feedback!

It helped a lot. I reckon it is to some degree about how you think about it. I just consider a bottom line (or final cost) how much my OOP actually is on any given transaction.

Seems like some of you are on the same page on that. Makes me feel more sane. ;-)

Alisa, will check out your blog.

Thanks again.
