I keep getting a response that code TO169 is not active. Any ideas?

I think it is T (zero) 169. I just copied and pasted it and it worked.

I think you typed TO as in the letter "O"...but isn't it supposed to be T0...as in the number zero?

Yay! I am so excited I got one. I just got the main Taste Of Home Cookbook. $4.50 for a book that was $28 to begin with is a great deal.

Now if only I could decide keep it or save it as a gift for my mom. LOL.

Bridal showers anyone? I always give a gift for the domestic life and then one for the night life. It's always a hit. This would be great for the domestic life!

I just bought 7 books, several for myself (I'm a cookbook junkie!) & the rest for gifts! Can't beat the price, if my husband has a good week next week I think I'll buy for gifts! Thanks!

Be careful, if your anti-spyware is not current and on alert, you could be signing up for something you don't want with a popup at the end of this transaction.

I bought two cookbooks which will be great for gifts! But now I'm worried . . .Does anyone have more info about the comment made saying we could be signing up for something we don't want? I did have a pop up at the end but just closed out of it. I'm hoping I didn't sign up for something without knowing it. Since it's the weekend I can't reach any kind of customer service to ask.

From what I read that pop up was an option for $10 off your next purchase IF you signed up for a club... there was a spot on the pop-up to sign up... I am pretty sure you aren't automatically signed up for anything.

If you do sign up for the $10 offer you could get a few more cookbooks for free. I signed up for the offer. All you have to do is cancel before the 30 days. GREAT DEAL!!

Awesome! I bought 8 Christmas cookbooks for Christmas gifts, a bunch of the main Taste of Home cookbook for wedding showers, and some other ones for my grandmother and mother, and me of course. Who can beat $4.50 for a great gift! Thanks!

I have a question. I received my confirmation email and on all the cookbooks that I purchased they all say "NO LONGER AVAILABLE" and at the end it says my total is $0.00. Is anyone else having this problem?

I bought mine all ok. I have the big one thats originally $28 (which thank goodness I got it as a gift, otherwise I'd be upset right now!), and I love it! I bought 2 just now and am super excited! Thanks Collin! You sure know you're audience! : )

That's what my email says too...it did say on the last order page - not available until 5/30...I hope this is not another deal that is too good to be true :-( Time will tell...

Does anyone know how much the Hormel Compleats meals are? I have 2 $.75 off coupons and a $.50/2 Target coupon, so that'd be $2 savings on 2...just have no clue how much they cost. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mary

Niether link will load for me. Is anyone else having this problem? I've also tried by going through the taste of home website and encounter the same problem...any advise?

I ordered 2 books a couple hours ago but haven't received my confirmation email. Anyone else not get a confirmation? My computer had an issue and closed out of the internet before I had a chance to write down the order number. Now I can't even check to see if my order went through.

I can't get the link to work. I've also tried going through the taste of home website and can't get in to shop the books. I really wanted to get some of these.

This is such a great deal! I got excited when I saw that you can send it directly to somebody as a gift and include a little message! My dad is a diabetic, so I sent my parents the diabetic cookbook. I can't wait to hear from them when they receive the out-of-the-blue gift!! :0)

ANON-
I ordered mine about 10 minutes ago and I have already received my order confirmation e-mail. Here is the customer service # from the e-mail. I would call and check on your order. 1-800-880-3012

I'm so excited! I bought 12 books as gifts for $54.00! Thanks!

I wrote earlier about not getting a confirmation email. Not sure if my order went through,I went ahead and ordered 3 more books. Once again, I didn't get a confirmation email. Since this time I created an account, I checked my order status and sure enough, I have 2 orders coming. Guess I'll have a couple extra gifts on hand for Christmas. So...even if you don't get a confirmation, your order probably went through anyway.

When I typed in the code, it made my $5 my cookbook $22. What did I do wrong? I tried removing everything from my cart, but it won't give me the cookbooks for $5 anymore.

If anyone is ever visiting in and around the Milwaukee WI area - Taste of Home has a visitors center located in Greenfield. They usually have lots of great deals in their basement shop. I get a lot of these cookbooks for $2-$3 each.

I ordered mine last night and now my conf. email says No Longer available and that my total is $0. BOO!

Anonymous said...

Yeah, my email says the same thing. I ordered 7 books but all but 2 say No Longer Available and my total says $9.00.

I know on the website it said available 5/30/09. Let's just hope they ship out then, fingers crossed, and we get another email confirming that.

ClutterCollector said...

thanks for posting this...
most are now showing back in stock on 6/1, but I managed to order 3 that were still in stock...
I used the code and voila, 3 cookbooks for 13.50!

I called customer service today because over the weekend I ordered 4 of these cookbooks and when I received my confirmation email it says no longer available and my total was $0. She said they have been sold out since last Saturday and that they have been trying to keep the site updated.

Anonymous said...

I recieved an email that my credit card was not charged and the cookbooks were no longer availabe. I checked back on the website and they still showed these books available at this price. I called the company and they said there was wrong info on the website. I filed a complaint with the BBB for not honoring an advertised price, so we'll see what happens....

I tried buying several cookbooks and it would not take the code (even tried copy and paste) - it said not taking at this time. Also, it showed at the top of the page $5 but it didn't list any in the checkout at $5. Any ideas
