CVS: Coppertone Suncare ONLY $1.99!

CVS has Coppertone Suncare on sale for $8.99. Plus, when you purchase one you'll get a $2 Extra Care Buck (limit 2). Well, according to Fran, the Coppertone Ultra Guard Continuous Spray has a bonus trial of Coppertone NutraShield attached to it. It's priced at $8.99 and qualifies for the $2 Extra Care Buck... so use the $5 NutraShield coupon from here. Your final cost will ONLY be $1.99 after the Extra Care Bucks!

I'm confused? It qualifies for $5 ECB?

I'm a bit confused....How can you use this coupon? Does that mean that you are using the coupon towards the "trial" size that's attached to the spray as a bonus?

the $5 ECB....is that for the trial size bottle attached. How can you get both a $2 ECB and a $5 ECB for 1 item.

I think she corrected the post. Sorry i was just a little confused.
Thanks,

From what I see...It looks like the coupon expired 6/22

i printed mine and it has 7/22 expiration date.

so, it is true that we would be using this $5 coupon because there is a trial size of nutrashield attached to the coppertone spray?

O.K. I get this. Meaning you get $2 ECB and use the $5.00 coupon for the attached trial size Nutra Shield coppertone. I do have the coupon and it doesn't say that you cannot use it on a trial size but unsure if you can use the coupon for the bonus product. I would love to hear if anyone has tried it yet! I will do it if there is a success story! I do know you can use the $1 off coupon and still get the $2 ECB. But of course the other deal is much sweeter. But what I recently did was use the $5.00 off coupon Coppertone(nutra shield)and combined it with the $1.00 target coupon that was in the paper and got the suncreen at a decent price. ( $3.99) That is still a great deal on great sunscreen and we go thru alot of it!! But would love to hear if this deal would work at CVS love the spray kind!

Anyone tried recently to print the coupon, when I pull it up the expiration date is outside of the coupon box. I'm afraid to try it because it looks like a fake coupon.

Hi guys,
Sorry for the confusion. You'll just get a $2Ecb, not a $5 one. Also Fran (the reader who emailed me) used the $5 coupon on the bonus pack product and the coupon went through fine with no beeps.

Since the coupon does NOT exclude travel size, then you should be able to use it-- since you are purchasing a Nutrashield product.

Thanks to Fran I used this coupon last night but at my CVS the Nutra Shield was also on sale for $8.99 with a bonus of Nutra Shield Face. First I saw them on an end-cap with no info, so I checked in the Sunscreen aisle. I'm in Ca.

I bought 2 and got 4 ecb's. Heads-up on the Infinity, I didn't know there was a limit of 3 so I was charged $10.97 for the 4th one.

the coupon is straight from the coppertone website and when you print it the expiration date prints in the correct place. HTH

I am curious about this $5 coupons. I am that one as well as $3 off Coppertone. If you are techinically buying both products (one just happens to be a FREEBIE), then couldn't you use both the coupons I am talking about? It would make sense to me. It is sort of like a BOGOF sort of sale. I sure bet it would work. I have plenty of sunscreen, but would like to know if anyone tried this. If so, it would actually be $1.01 or so money-maker.

Hi Ladies,
I'm the Fran that told Collin about this deal...I did it last night. The one Jackie got was $14.99 at my CVS and there was no ECB sign with that one. The one in the picture on Collin's post had the small Nutra Shield attached to the can. They also had the one I got, it's a white can with blue, it's Coppertone Ultra Guard. I got 2 @ $8.99 each, minus the $5.00 coupon=$3.99 each OOP, plus if you ring them up together, you get $4.00 ECB...$2.00 from each can. The coupons went through with no problem. HTH:)

Lowry517,
You wouldn't be able to use the 2 coupons because it only rings up as one item...it's packaged together...this isn't a case of manufacturers coupon and store coupon...both of the ones you have are manufacturers. Does that make sense?

Jackie - I bought 4 boxes of Infinity earlier in the week all for $4.99 each. I wonder if they have now put a limit on it b/c people were realizing Infinity was included.

Fran, thanks so much! I guess you could say that I have learned something new today. Thanks!

I bought 5 boxes of the Infinity today, they all rang up $4.99. Is the UPC on the third one different then the other 2?

In my CVS ad, it says limit three as well. I live in Northern California and I know the ads I receive aren't the same as others. I guess that is something to do with Long's transitioning to CVS.

for some reason when I print the coupon, I get a (rectangle) outline of the coupon and nothing inside the coupon. any suggestions? priscillawallace at sbcglobal dot net

after a 3rd try, I did get the coupon to sort of print...but there is no bar code...just a big white rectangle in that spot. Any suggestions? thanks priscillawallace at sbcglobal dot net

I just used the $5.00 coupon at CVS. They didn't have the spray one with the other trial package attached like someone reported. So I thought I would pick one of the sprays, the 70 esp. which is also on sale with the ECB. When I went up and paid, I had no problem redeeming the coupons. I purchased two. No beeps or anything. It is a coppertone product.

I stopped into cvs tonight and they refunded me for the expensive Infinity. Better savings at least compensated me for having to go back.

I went to 4 CVS' today to try and find the sunscreen, no dice. But they had it at Meijer but you won't get rewards for it, it's still a good deal at 3.99. My girlfriend said they were at her store but when she went back they were gone. It's 90+ degrees out and hard to lug 2 small kids in the weather to find sunscreen, I might try again tomorrow :)

Hi all,
I am in NY where it's usually drama for all the coupons but today I went to CVS and I found the Coppertone set with the trial size for $8.99 and I used my $5 coupon and IT WORKED. I was so happy. The coupon works because there is the little Nutra Shield attached to it so no problems.
Thanks so much for the tip.

I just got back from CVS, and wanted to get the spray Coppertone and a Nutrishield, but because the coupon showed the Nutrishield, the checker wouldn't even scan the spray. I asked, "well, can you just scan it to see if it'll take?" "Nope," she said. "When there's a picture, you can only get what's pictured." LAME. This couponing thing seems to be one headache after another after another. No matter if its at Target, Walmart or CVS. This is becoming a real job. PHEW!
