Target Deals 6/28-7/4

Numerous readers are having issues with being able to stack a Target coupon and manufacturer coupon together on one item. Well, the good news is that Target's coupon policy clearly states that you can use both coupons together on one item. Their policy also states that if the value of the coupon is higher then the value of the item, then they can adjust the coupon down. Go on over here to access their coupon policy. Print it off and keep it with you every time you shop at Target. You also may want to read more about the coupon issues people have been encountering and what can be done about it here.

I also received a Target $1 coupon for Coppertone in my coupons on Sunday! So if you have that coupon it'd only be $1.99! I'm in Austin, TX.

Do you mind telling me what zip code to put in for the Bare solo cups and plates coupon? Thanks so much.

Does anyone know how much Sunday papers cost in TX if you buy them in the stands or at the grocery store? My newspaper company refuses to give me my old price I paid last time of $1.73/per Sunday paper for 26 wks and upped the price to $2.17 per paper. Is that a good deal or should I just cancel my subscription and buy them in the stores?

The 5/10 RP .35 cent off hilshire farm deli meat coupon expired 6-15

In Dallas it costs $3 in store for a newspaper that has ONE coupon insert or $5 for a newspaper that has double coupon inserts. Sounds like you are still getting a good deal...I'd stick with it.

I also saw Smart Water for $1 ea. and got a $1/2 on the front of my 6/28 SS. I don't know if that's a good deal, as I don't buy smart water, and don't have a clue whats so "smart" about it. But $.50 ea., I may give it a try.

For those who didn't get the regional coupon on the dawn..Walgreens has a .99 cent coupon (limit 2) and pair it with the .25 cent off dawn 6/10 PG and that's not a bad deal, either.

I just went to Target last night, and I got some more freebies. There were $1 off any Olay Body Wash from the PG Savers from a while ago, and Target has bars of Olay soap in the travel aisle for 0.97. And the coupon says nothing about no trial size. And always check Target Clearance aisles, I get awesome deals there all the time. Last night I got Burtbees pack of four lip balms for $3.98 (they were on the clearance aisle for 4.98+ used $1.00 off coupon) I also got some more Ponds wipes for $0.73(once again clearance aisle for $1.98 used the $1.25 off coupon from this week) I Love Target Clearance. This was in American Fork, Utah

Does anyone know if there are any good prescription gift cards for any new or transferred prescriptions out there right now for either Target, Walgreens, or KMART. I saw the Target $10 off but I think I saw that someone was doing $25 but I can't remember who it was. Thanks for any help!

I saw one (gift card) for Rite Aid (on prescriptions) for $25...but it expired 6/21. Not sure if that was the one you saw or not.

Recently I went to the Target store and purchased several items. I used manufacturer and store coupons on some of the items and just store coupons on the remaining items. I presented all of the coupons to the sales associate at the time of purchase and had no problems. Apparently the sales associate felt that the coupons were okay to use. I would later learn that the training or guidance that the associate received clearly differed from the store manager or customer service representative. After completing my purchase but before leaving the store, I realized that I did not use 2 of my coupons. I went to customer service to have them assist me. The young lady at customer service stated that they could accept my coupons because they exceeded the value of the product. I HAVE ATTACHED A COPY OF THE COUPON POLICY. When I asked her if I could return the items in question and get my coupons back, she said yes. She went to the register where I had purchased my items and returned with every coupon that I had used. Upon her return to the customer service counter, she immediately starting accusing me of stealing from the store (in front of several other customers as well as my two young children). She went on to say that I needed to return all of the items that I had purchased and at some point I said fine. I asked her to return my coupons and she gave me the manufacturer coupons back. At some point I asked to see the store coupon policy and to speak to a manager. When the acting manager arrived at the customer service, he started with the accusations of fraud. Again all of this was said in earshot of other customers and my kids. He indicated that by using multiple in store coupons items such as the ice cream coupons in one transaction, I had committed fraud. I stated that I had never had any problems before and apologized after the he pointed out the limit one per transaction. After watching the manager and the customer service representative unsuccessfully try to refund my money, I left the store empty handed.
The young lady accused me of stealing. The definition of stealing is as follows: to take something that belongs to somebody else, illegally or without the owner’s permission. The manager accused me of committing fraud and the definition of fraud is as follows: the crime of obtaining money or some other benefit by deliberate deception.
I would like Target to explain how I was stealing or committing fraud.
The following day, my husband contacted the district manager’s office and spoke with a young lady . During this conversation with her, he requested that she would review the store tape from that night and she agreed. She also stated to my husband my treatment was not standard protocol and she apologized. She went on to say that if I did steal and or commit fraud that loss prevention should have intervened. Loss prevention never came in the picture. On the following Monday, June 29th my husband contacted the District manager’s office again to see if she had an opportunity to investigate the matter. She indicated that she had not obtained the store video yet, but that he was on her list of people to call. My husband ended the call and said that he would check back in a few days.

I am so sorry you have had such a hard time. I wouldn't let that go, especially if it was in front of my children! You will probably never get the apology that you deserve, but we all understand your frustration. I have never had problems at Target, but have had them at Walmart and Walgreens. I complained and so forth, but never got a proper response.
Just say a little prayer that they learn the coupon policy; they only have to learn it once.
It is a bummer, because Target has so many good deals. It is not worth it if you are being accused of something you didn't do.
Hey, they do have corn 10/$1 this week, no coupons needed!!!

Hey Hip2Save, the Ziploc coupons found in the containers are 1.50 off of two! You might want to update your post. So I think this makes them .75 and not free

Try zip 90210 for the SOLO!

Mary--In Austin, the papers are 1.60 in store, and I saw them for 1.50 in those little vending things in front of stores. That is crazy that Dallas charges so much!!

Anon--don't give up on that! Stay with contacting corp. You definitely deserve an apology, if not more.

Mary said...

Alisa, Is that the price including Sunday papers? I thought Sundays were usually a little more?

Jami STL said...

I have a 1.50 coupon that printed from the register for all small and mighty, do you think I could use this on the trial size? thanks.

fran said...

Jami,
As long as the coupon doesn't read "not on trial size", you can.

tori said...

I pay $1.60 for the Austin Statesman when i buy it in store. I do have a subscription for like $8 a month only for sunday. It's worth the extra money to have it delivered.

I've heard you can buy the Sunday papers at the Dollar Tree for a $1.

I was at my Super Target and they had the men's Gillette Bodywash 8.4 oz. size on clearance for $1.40. They were located in the makeup section on an end-cap. I used the $1 off coupn from 6/7 PG and brought it home for 40 cents.

Just wanted to let you know that J&J $3/3 doesn't seem to have any prints in it's campaign. Also I didn't see the Degree $1.50 Target coupon at redplum.com any more.

I went to Target today and I was so excited i purchased the 3 ice cream, 1 deli meat, 1 sunscreen, 2 joint juice, 2 mayo, 4 activia, 1 pictureka, 2 pace salsa, and 1 listerine (which was on clearance and had a small 8.5 oz bottle attached to the 1qt - I used the $2 off coupon)
Prices are higher here in Vegas than most places and my total was $54.13 and after the coupons my total was $16.63!!! The sales lady congratulated me and was so excited for me!! She forced all the coupons, even if they beeped because she knew I had purchased the items. Much different experience than last week when the barely 16 year old gave me attitude and was so rude to me!! I will make sure I get that sales associate EVERY TIME!!! Yahooo!

A suggestion for newspaper subscriptions: I recently used some airline miles for a Sunday subscription. 39 weeks for 1200+ miles. I knew I wouldn't be accumulating any more miles on this particular airline for a while, so it was worth it to get something out of it! Something for y'all to look into...
I'm so sad to hear that so many people have had such lousy experiences with Target. I just recently moved back to 'civilization' after 15 years in a mountain community (90 miles one way to a Target). I've been so happy to be close to a Target again and have had nothing but postive experiences using coupons there. Today I got a cashier who was brand new and another person had to help her with the coupons, gift card, etc. Everyone was so nice and helpful--no negative vibes at all. All the cashiers at my local Walmart, Safeway, Walgreens & Albertsons are helpful, too. Maybe it's a Colorado thing? lol! Anyway, I love this website and appreciate all the work, comments, and suggestions that everyone contributes.

hi, just wanted to let you know i think they may have changed the wording on the 3 of 3 johnsons and johnsons coupons,
It now specify which products it can be used on and soapbuddies are not included.
