when i went to it, the date said you had to purchase by july 4th? so i didn't do it.
No, this rebate is valid through 8/1. Where did you see the July 4th date?
Even when you click on the rebate form it says it's is valid for purchases up to August 1st.
When you're on the site with the $60 McAfee, click on where it says rebate forms for recent purchases. You then have to click on the rebate form. It does say that you only have until July 4th. However, that form and your form have to same UPC #s so make sure that you use Hip2Save's form.
