Hi Collin,
On the picture movie DVD, I know you say to bring our pictures. Do you know approximately how many pictures can fit on 1 DVD? I never did this before, have you?...and if you did, how did it turn out?
Thanks, and have a good weekend.

Is using a b1g1 coupon on a b1g1 sale item a YMMV kind of thing?

If there are free ECB deals and you go to a 24 hour CVS, will the deal start at midnight?

Hey Fran,
I have actually never done one before, so I'm not sure how they work and I'm also not sure how many pictures will fin on one DVD. Wish I could be more help!

Sarah,
It is a YMMV and does depend on the cashier you get.

mmmgoode,
It depends on your CVS. Some stores will and some stores won't. I would call them and ask when they start the ECB deals for next week.

When I lived in Kansas City, the store I went to actually started the ECB Deals at around 3 pm on Saturdays, so I actually was able to purchase everything then. It was nice!

Hey Collin,
Thanks anyway. So since neither of us did this before, I thought I'd give the store a call to find out. You can put up to 60 (sixty) pictures on one DVD...they take 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 pictures. He said it is like a slide show with music...they have different music to choose from.

I didn't do that photo book from last week. I didn't know that I could have used regular photos...oh well:)

Hi Collin and Sarah,
I tried a while ago to buy the Purex detergent with a raincheck that was B1G1 sale price with a B1G1 coupon and had an awful cashier argue with me and accuse me of coupon fraud. I told him I didn't care to argue, walked out, and went home and sent an email to CVS customer relations. Seeing your question I thought I would share the response I received. Based on this corporate response, I would say that you should definitely get both items free, but you may have to stand up for yourself. I now carry a copy of that email in my coupon binder to help avoid a problem in the future. Ok, here is part of what the response I got, best wishes!

"Please accept my sincere apology for the rude and unhelpful level of service you experienced with our cashier and the incorrect information you were given. You should have been able to use both the rain check and the buy one get one free coupon to make this purchase, thus making both detergents free. You would be charged tax only."

I just wanted to give a heads up one the photo stuff. Like you said last week, we could get 5 not just 1. But I didn't have time to get it together the way I wanted to, so I didn't do it on my regular shopping trip.
But I went back for a few more good deals in the middle of the week and my VERY friendly CVS lady told me that we could by them now, get the ECB's , but we had till the end of Dec. to accually make the books! this was wonderful to me because I could easily do them when the kids are back in school and I have a few moments to myself... :-)
I don't know if this is just our CVS or all of them. I would assume that would be for the DVD's as well....... Let me know if anyone else has heard of this.

Hi, Collin! Just cruisin' by my blog list to let everyone know that there's a $1 CVS coupon for the Speed Stick in the new Reinventing Beauty magazine that will make it an even bigger moneymaker. Enjoy!

I did the photo dvd deal today but the associates had trouble finding the Kodak DVD in their system and rang up something else and gave me a $10 ECB. Works for me, but now I don't know whether I should be able to do more -- I will do at least 1 because the first one was not tied to the promo at all if that makes sense. But I hope they get it figured out because I will do a total of at least 3 but I don't want to take advantage if I am only allowed 1. Anyway, I did want to share a tip. I had burned a CD with my photos and renamed all the files in order from 1-57 thinking that the Kodak computer would keep them in the same order. However, it kept them in order according to what number the file started with. For example -- 0, 1,11,12,13.....then when it got through the teens it went to 2, 20, 21, 22, 23, etc. So it took a little more time to resort. Hope this helps someone on the front end!

trash2cash4u. i had the same problem and after i left the store i called up corporate and explained that i was of the impression that the promotion allowed 5 and asked if there was a chance i could still get my ebc since i had payed for a second one and not resived any ebc. he went ahead and gave it to me but told me that after today they will not be able to do that anymore.

I went to another CVS and bought a second photo DVD. The associates there were able to ring up the proper item and it printed out my ECB. Bad news is that it did say Offer Limit Reached after only doing 1. Good news is that I ended up getting 2 since the first store didn't know what they were doing. =) I don't try to take advantage, but sometimes these things just happen! But for those who are trying to get 5, I don't think it's going to happen.
