Their website says it is only good on the 950005CX and 950005C models. Is one of these the one that is $50 at Walmart?

Thanks to our God Family "THE CODY'S" in Thomson, GA for telling us about the deal. We bought 3 of the 5 Day Weather Forecasters #950005CX for $50 @ Walmart last week. Checked tonight & plenty more here in Lenoir,NC.

Yes, Walmart.com has them listed for $98 and not available in stores, but hubby and I went out last night and they had about 15 in the usual section with the rest of the weather things. Our store even had the rebate sheets stuck on the package.
Ours had the 5 day at $50 and the 7 day at $75.
I would make sure to price scan them to make sure they aren't clearanced and just don't have new price on them.

I just returned from Walmart and they had the 5 day on clearance for $30 but it scanned $50.00 The hardware manager said he would honor the $30.00 price. (The 7 day way marked $75.00.) I was able to get 3 of them! There was only 1 more and they also pulled off the $30.00 price.
Right on! I'm on my way to WalMart. This is the perfect present for my father-in-law, who, like all men of a certain age, is completely obsessed with the weather.
I went to my 2 WalMart's in town this am, and no luck. They had no idea what product I was talking about. Maybe I'll go back and look in the clearance aisle. Hope I find them. These would make great Christmas gifts.
I too had the problem with the "color space" error. I downloaded an Adobe update and also went to the main site here: http://www.bushnell.com/weather/ and clicked on the print rebate link on the right side. It loaded right up. HTH!

My husband was so excited about this that he went to Wal-mart as soon as I emailed him at Work. He got one for $50 and it had the rebate form on it for $50 so basically it will just cost us tax on the $50. Thank you!
My husband just picked up 2 at Walmart on sale for $50 but scanned for $25 each. Do we still get the $50 each?? (We are in Tallahassee, FL, for anyone who wants to pick up a couple, the limit is 3 per household)
I was able to get them in Whitehall, Pa and there were lots of them there. The shelf price said $75, but they scanned at $50. I was having a hard time finding them, and the employees did not know what I was talking about, but I found them in the hardware aisle with the outdoor thermometers.
Our Walmart had them at $50 too but it states they're only good in 150 locations or something (big cities) so that doesn't work for us.
I also found them today at my Walmart like everyone else. I read the rebate slip taped to the box. It says to cut the UPC symbol off of the package to send in with the receipt. Cutting that off will be a little difficult since it is that hard plastic packaging.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish that without making a mess of the package...since a lot of these are going to be presents?

On another note though - what form will the rebate be in? Check? Credit/Debit Card? Store credit? I want to check first before I send them out because I really don't want store credit.

I used a box cutter and just cut out a little square of plastic and the UPC. Worked great.

Got 3 in Portland - found in the hardware section. Actually - had to ask. Seems they were doing inventory and hadn't put these back on the shelf. Can't WAIT for xmas!
They weren't at the Walmart near my home but, I did find them at another location in Las Vegas. Walmart even had the rebate form taped on the product!!! Christmas in July....love it!!!
Walmart in Spotsy, VA has plenty. Picked up three in hardware section. Can I just send all 3 UPC's in one envelope with one rebate form?? Or do they have to be separate? Thanks!
Diana: The cities listed in the link aren't where the rebate is valid - it's where you can get the updated weather information for the product! If your city isn't listed, you can set it to another city that is close by. The rebate is valid, though, for anyone, no matter where you live.
Also, I don't live in a big city at all and it happens to be listed on there, very random!

I found these in Killeen, TX for $20. The Temple Wal-Mart had them for $50.
You probably have to send in your receipt, so you'll probably only get back what you spent, not $50 no matter what. But.. ya never know. Would be great if it turned out to be a moneymaker!!
They had a few left at my Walmart in the housewares section along with other thermometers. Great steal at $50 clearance!! They also had the rebate forms taped on the front-so they did the work for me!!
Kim, I'm in Vegas also and went to the Centennial walmart on Tropical in the Northwest. They were out but I did see where they had been. Which Walmart did you go to?

Anonymous Las Vegas...I picked up 3 at the Centennial Walmart on Tropical. The new Walmart out on 215 & Decatur didn't carry this brand. Maybe you can try the Walmart at W Charleston & Decatur. Good Luck!
Ours had the rebate taped to them too! I read the rebate before I went to get them, but it was very nice to see that I was for sure getting the right ones! What a great gift!

I was able to get 3 of these yesterday at our Walmart in Gilroy. They had at least another 20 left stocked in the aisle near the paint section.
TUCSON: Found many in the Hardware Clearance section of our Walmart in Tucson (Wetmore/1st near the Tucson Mall) today (August 3). The other local Walmarts were sold-out. $50 Clearance Price for the 5-day Forecaster! Thanks!

So, I was wondering if anyone has received their rebate yet? That is, if anyone is still checking this post. I got a "fun" (super-sarcasm) little note in the mail. Bushnell tells me I'm not eligible for the rebate because I purchased it "outside the qualifying period". I purchased mine on 7/24 and unless I'm crazy the rebate period was (2/09-8/15/09). Now does it look like I purchased it within the qualifying period to you? Let me know how it's going for anyone else. Julie.
I got a card saying I did not include an original UPC, however, I made a copy of what I sent with the UPC taped securely to it. I sent a copy and will wait and see! Good Luck.
I got the same post card stating that my submission was denied because it did not include an original UPC. Luckily, I had made a copy of everything that I had mailed in with the rebate. I called the Bushnell Co. at 888-326-6187. I was told to send in a copy of the UPC. I could either fax it to 1-866-843-9980 or mail it to Bushnell Outdoor Products, Client Research, P.O. Box 5501, Norwood, MN 55583-5501.
well - i bought 3 and got an email indicating i'm getting at least 1 of the rebates! am really hopeful that's a clerical error and i'm getting rebates for all 3. i copied all the stuff i sent in - so will wait and see...
Yay! Despite the confusing email, I got a check for all 3 rebates! AWESOME!
