Awesome scenarios - you might want to point out that if they already got SCR61 w/ diapers or toiletpaper, etc - they cannot get it again.

Anonymous said...

Is rite aid still enforcing 1 printable coupon per transaction or this has changed? I noticed that some of the scenarios need to use more than 1.

Wendy said...

On the Hawaiian tropic deal, your rebate says $8. I thought this rebate was for $5. It is very possible that I am missing something, help...

Anonymous said...

the link for the l'oreal coupon wouldn't work for me, but I went to the site, registered, went through a "consultation" and then at the end I was able to print 2.

Hip2Save said...

Anon,
At my store they don't limit printable coupons at all. However, at other stores I've heard that they do limit you to a certain amount. I would call your local store ahead of time and ask.

Wendy,
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. It is suppose to be $5 back... I just changed it!

Anon,
I changed the L'Oreal link, so now it should be working. Like you said, though, you will need to login or register to print the coupon.

RITE AID CORPORATE COUPON POLICY:

Cali,

Rite Aid's Coupon Policy is as follows; Coupons, and their face value,
cannot be exchanged for cash. Front-end competitor coupons will not be
honored at Rite Aid. Coupons are to have a valid expiration date, those that
are expired or ineligible will be returned to the customer.

As of 5/08/09, based on customer feedback, we have modified our policy to
allow more than one internet coupon per transaction.

Only one manufacturer's coupon is accepted for each product, unless coupled
with a manufacturer's or valuable coupon found in a Rite Aid circular.

Coupons may not be reproduced, photocopied, trimmed or altered in any way by
the customer or Rite Aid associate.

Hope this helps some people!!

Does anybody know if the Schick Disposables are part of the sale? Theres a bogo coupon... just wondering if it would work too.

To get both rebates back from loreal....can i still just enter my receipt info or do i have to be specific like i want #157 or whatever? also....for every "consultation" you do on loreal's site...you can print 2 coupons...i got 8!

HI,

I have a question about the rite aid rebates. Do you know if you have another family member living with you if they are allowed to sign up for a rite aid rebates account? I didn't know since the address would be the same.

Thanks

not seeing the speed stick coup on coupons.com?

stephanie said...

Also, did one consultation and only offers coupons that would not apply to the nail polish. Am I missing something. Obviously, but what?

Cali said...

the Loreal coupon is a $1/1 any Loreal Paris product... ie loreal paris nail polish

Anonymous said...

Where is the $3.oo sambocol Q?

Hip2Save said...

Anon,
You just have to enter your receipt info. You do not need to enter anything about the rebates you purchased-- it will automatically pull everything up! It's a really simple process!:)

Another Anon,
The $3 Sambucol coupon is found inside the boxes of Sambucol. If you purchased any during the awesome Walgreens deal a few months ago, then there should be some available inside those!

I did print the coupons, but are the nail polishes Loreal Paris brand? I didn't think so?

Thanks, Stef

Girls:
I just got back from RA. Our deals started on Friday. The Sambucol had $3 q's in cold and Flu Relief.

The L'oreal are on 75% off for $1.24 but are not eligible for rebates but according to a manager they will be redoing these displays on Monday and then will be Okay. I had a time getting my q's back so check before you purchase.
If you just received your Aveeno totes from RA, there were q's for free RX faces sunblock @ $8.29 and free rx lip balm @ $2.49. This week if you buy the Faces you get the lip balm free, so you could get 2 lip balms free.

Jackie said...

Stephanie:
The nail polish is L'oreal paris and they work.

Jackie said...

Collin,
Again, didn't see a lot in the ad till you posted your scenario. I did Trans #1 and #2, had to modify #3 because between 2 stores they only had 5 razors. Thanks so much for your brain. I printed your scenario out and I still had to stay very alert to do this. I could never think it up.

LilKim said...

This might be a dumb question, but are the Rite Aid SCRs checks that you cash for actual money, or are they coupons that can be used like cash at Rite Aid, similar to ECBs or RRs?

Jackie said...

Lil Kim,
You get a check in the mail that you take to the bank and cash. They are very reliable. You always get whatever they say you will. For me, after I enter my receipts, I get the info on what was applied in 2 days unless you buy it like after 5 pm, then 3 days.

ilja said...

Can you guys please answer my Question!

fran said...

ilja,
I never heard anything about this before...what I can suggest is contact IRS directly...I would believe IRS before I believed something I read on line. HTH:)

fran said...

LilKim,
It also states on the check that you can use it for in store purchases.
I did want to let you know that when you enter your receipts on line, you do want to wait until the end of the rebate period to request your check, because once you requested your check, you wouldn't be able to qualify for any other rebates for that period.

LilKim said...

thank you fran and jackie!!

I have been "CVS"-ing for months, dabbling in WAGS....and now I thought I'd try Rite Aid.

It looks like I might be liking Rite Aid 2nd best!!

Julie said...

to the anonymous asking about having another family member living with you, wanting to submit the rebates, too....they can sign up for their own account, but together you will only be able to submit one rebate for each item (so, for rebate #1, either you can do it, or they can...you can't both do it and get the rebate for it).

cathy said...

Ilja, Yes, you need to report contest winnings as income.
http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=175963,00.html
Prizes and awards
Subject to certain exceptions, the cash value of prizes or awards won in a drawing, quiz show program, beauty contest, or other event, must be included on the tax return as taxable income.
Taxpayers must also report the fair market value of merchandise or products won as a prize or award, as taxable income.
For example, both a $500 cash prize and the fair market value of a new range won in a baking contest must be reported as other income on Form 1040, Line 21.

I noticed on the Ebay coupons for the Schick razors it specifically read, Refills, so would this still work or do we run the risk of having the cashier or manager not taking the coupons because it only applies to the refills?

ClarityPath said...

Ack! I clicked the link to the ebay listing for the Schick razors. The link you provided is actually a listing for refill coupons, not the razors. I wish I had read the ebay listing more carefully before buying :(

Anonymous said...

a note on the loreal
ps-for each consultation (face, skin, hair, look) they allow two coupons, I just did 6 from one PC
YAHOO

Hip2Save said...

I just wanted to aologize for posting the wrong $4 coupon on eBay. It was for the refills and not the razors! I feel so bad, so again I'm really sorry about that mistake!

I have now changed the link to go directly to all the $4 Schick Razor coupons listed on eBay!

ilja said...

Thank You so much for explaining this to me!
But i don't understand this part!
can you please explain it to me!
THANKS!!

It is a common misconception that if a taxpayer does not receive a Form 1099-MISC or if the income is under $600 per payer, the income is not taxable. There is no minimum amount that a taxpayer may exclude from gross income.

Anonymous said...

how do you find the loreal coupon once on the website? I printed one off but it is for an bare naturale product not paris....

C and G said...

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but if you can hold off on your RA shopping until Tuesdays you can use your Rite Aid "rewards" card and you will receive an extra percentage off in addition to your coupons. I typically save an additional $2ish dollars.

Anonymous said...

the nail polish at my rite aid is $4.99?? that is a big difference-does it list the "sale" price somewhere that i could take in and ask to be honored? thanks for all your hard work-i adore your site!!

Celia Emmons said...

I went to RA today and the polish rang up at 1.24?! It was marked and advertised at $2.99. I didn't argue, figuring that making 1.76 per polish wasn't bad (after coupon and rebate,) I just bought 4 polishes and didn't go for the $5 rebate (for buying $13 in product.) I am waiting to see if I get the $2 rebate still, so we will see. If I don't get it, there will be some complaining!

Anonymous said...

same thing happened to me-the nail polish (though marked as $2.99) is ringing up $1.24-i showed the manager the add and explained i didn't want to pay the "clearance" price as that wasn't valid for the rebate. She said there was nothing she could do....suggestions on what to do now?

Tracee said...

I bought 11 of the nail polishes for a grand total of 2.64, which, according to Rite Aid SCR customer service will qualify for the $5 off 13 purchase. Getting a little over $2 for taking home 11 polishes isnt bad if you ask me...if i happen to get anything else for the other rebate, that will just be a bonus

Jackie said...

The $1.24 work for the rebate. I just have to get more. They gave me $4.96 for 5 polishes on the
$8 and 6.20 towards the others.HTH

Give Me Neither said...

I found it strange that they would put the nail polish on clearance the week that they are offering a rebate that specifically says no clearance items. Hmm...

I went ahead and bought (5) $1.24 nail polishes and (2) Loreal cleansing towelettes that I found on clearance for $3.99 each. I used (2) $1 coupons from the L'oreal website and (2)$1 coupons from 5/31 RP.

I'll see what happens.

Can someone help me with the RiteAid SCR? This is my first time. I went to day and bought 4 L'Oreal nail polishes and two hair products that were BOGO, so should have been $2.99x4 plus $4.99 for the hair products and qualify for the $5 off $13 rebate. The polishes scanned at $2.99 while they were being rung up, but now that I'm looking at my receipt they are $1.24 each. I can't figure out why! Can I still get the $8 polish rebate? Would they still be eligible for the $5 rebate because they should have rung up at $2.99? I'm so confused.

Nicole S. said...

Nevermind - I'm reading the other comments now...

Melissa said...

Hey is there a place I can find the Coupon Policy? My local store decided that if you don't have a coupon with the Rite Aid symbol on it then they won't take it.... Bummer.

Cali said...

If you have trouble showing the coupon policy to your cashier have them call 1-800-Rite Aid. It's their corporate number and they will inform the cashier of the appropriate policy. They can do it right there while you wait. Or you can call the number ahead of time and they will call the store.

MC said...

I was so excited to get the nail polish, however, when I got to the store they were all gone. Also, the prices for stop pain, legatrim, and other products with rebates, were much much higher than the ones you'd posted. Nonetheless, I was able to snatch 2 hawaiian tropic, 4 speed sticks, and some bayer heart healthy aspirin for 13 after SCR and coupons. Thanks for the great deals.
