I entered the code & hit "update order total", but it didn't adjust the total. Did it show your adjusted total before you completed the checkout?

I got a Ryan Newman hat for my son--hard to find for this driver! Original cost $25; order total including shipping and tax $17. A great deal for it to be delivered to our door. Thanks!

There was $12 shipping on the hat? "Yikes"

Does the total have to be over $20 for it to work?

Collin,
The code is not working?

Thanks Hip2 I ordered some adorable animal pancake molds, and push up pop molds. The kiddos will be thrilled.

You others that had orders go through, did it show the adjusted total BEFORE you finalized your order? If anyone else tries it, please let us know!

Anonymous said...

Yes, it was adjusted before. Is your total over $20? It has to be over $20 for the code to work.

Ok it took the $20 off. It takes it off after you put in your cc #. If you put in CC# it does not charge you until the next screen where you may revise your order!
Thanks Collin!

I ordered two pair of gloves - really cute. My total with shipping of $5.95 was only $19. I didn't see the $20 come off the order so I called customer service that they told me there would be no charge to my credit card because of the promotional code. So I just got two pair of gloves for FREE!!!! Thank you for the great information!

Tried to call customer service and have them push my order through also (like the previous anon reader) but, they told me I had to have $20 worth of merchandise before code will work. It's a no go for me:(

I just ordered a grandma's blessing shirt for a total of 20.98called customer service and she said I would just be charged .98 cents.

Well I guess persistence pays off! Hung up and called customer service and placed an order over the phone and they told me for my $20.94 total my cc would only be charged .94 . Bought the snow man towels. Thought they would be a great hostess gift for Christmas party.

how many orders can you make for this code?

I just phone in an order because I likes momofpayton idea on the hand towels. The customer service rep placed me on hold because the promo wasn't going through she then came back on the line and told me not to worry I would only be charged $.94. I'm a little weary about it. we shall see. Does any know when the promo will end?

Ok I have to say something, just need to get it off my chest! I do not mean this to be mean in any way, and I am not posting as anonymous to hide myself. My name is Susan from Alabama and I have followed and LOVE this blog for a month so far. I love that you find us these great deals. However I find it a little sad that people want to use it more than once to get stuff free from the company. I mean I use it once, and am very appreciative of it. However I think it is abusing the system and taking advantage of the generosity the company is offering to try and use it over and over to get things free. That is what is going to cause these things to stop completely. Let me repeat this before I get blasted that I think it is fine to do it for something close to free or free once (I do) but to close your order and do it over again and again, I just think is wrong! Ok off my soapbox! Thank you so much for your wonderful blog Hip2Save!

Wow, shipping is really steep. It looks like the minimum shipping is 9.95.

I too placed an order and the $20 was not taken off. Called customer service, was transferred to internet support. He said that he had dealt with the same problem several times today and I should be charged only .89. But he was putting a note on the account and when it goes through processing, if there is a problem they will call me. Fingers crossed there are no problems!

Thanks so much--I got the fall wreath...I did pay $16 BUT--I have been searching for a nice wreath to replace my July patriotic stuff...so this was a great deal for me!!

How are you getting free shipping?

Anonymous said...

you add something to your cart for around 14.99 and then the 5.95 for shipping makes it total 20.94. so call you pay is 94 cents

Anonymous said...

exactly Beverly, abusing the system! But that is what is so great about America, we are all allowed our opinion.

The code worked fine for me if the order, before shipping, was 20.00 or more. I had two cute serving dishes in my cart and, after the coupon code, both came to a total of .94 cents!! But, shipping was 9.95 plus an extra $5.00 "heavyweight charge" for each item?? No thanks...I think this would be a good deal if you can find 20 bucks worth of lightweight stuff on their website.

Also, I agree with Susan from Alabama in that the deals are not meant to be used over and over and over again. Just because the fine print doesn't state that it can only be used once...it just doesn't feel right sometimes, you know? Too much overuse/abuse and these deals won't come around as much in the future.

I called Customer Service twice, even had my call transferred to internet support as I read from one of the comments, but everyone told me the code only applies to the merchandise and not shipping (I've had three representatives tell me this). Once the order is placed, it goes through processing and they check it, and when they see this (even with a note on the account), they will not honor the code and customer will end up paying the full price. At least this was what I was told.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone checked their credit card statement for charges?

Keeping My Cents said...

Well, they called me this evening and canceled my order because my merchandise total wasn't over $20. But, on the other hand I just received my free $20 purchase from SkinRx. So, I'm a happy camper. Hope everyone else got in on that deal.

Anonymous said...

That is true, even my order has been cancelled the the coupon applied only when the merchadise value is mo0re than 20

Michelle said...

So my order should have been $18 dollars charged to my card (with shipping). I just checked my onling banking and they only charged me 13! They must have adjusted the shipping price! Yea!

Ok I was just about to order, but they want $9.95 for shipping! I know someone here had free shipping. Can someone tell us HOW to get free shipping too please.

I really needed the HEPA Filter. Good Christmas Gift for my daughter and her fiance.

Thanks!

I ordered two great shirts and my shipping was 9.95 at checkout, but when I received my order confirmation via email it was only 5.95 so I got 2 shirts for 14.93 shipped!!! Great Deal. Thanks.

I called in and spoke with an internet person today. I told her the item I wanted was $19.99 and would the $20 off code work with that and she said yes, that I would just pay the shipping. I got the polka dot rectangle baker for $11.87 shipped! What a great birthday gift for my sister. I'll get a nice cookbook to go with it. Thanks so much!
