SuperValu Chains: $25 in FREE Groceries!

Wow! If you have a SuperValu chain nearby: Acme, Albertsons, Biggs, Cub, Farm Fresh, Hornbachers, Jewel-Osco, Shaws-Star, Shop n Save and/or Shoppers, then you can score $25 in FREE groceries... yes, you heard me right--$25 in FREE groceries!

The $25 in FREE groceries promotion starts August 7th and runs through August 23rd. You'll need to purchase $25 or more of these participating products and a $5 coupon will print out of the register to use like cash on your next purchase! Plus, on top of that you'll be able to get a $20 rebate back! This rebate form will print after your transaction. Allow 6-8 weeks for the shipment of your rebate check. Final cost after the $20 rebate and $5 Catalina coupon--$25 in FREE groceries!

Let us know if you come up with any great deal scenarios!

(Thanks, CouponGeek!)

Thanks for your hard work.

Can I use the coupon on this transaction? If the purchase price is equal but total oop is less than $25 can that be still qualify?

Do you know the best sight for listing Albertsons specials ahead of time? I want to work on this one for sure. If it is like the one they just had, your total had to be after all coupons to get the catalina. I got 20.04 and got 10.00 back and made a second trip though the line and used the 10.00 to pay for the rest of my food. Love this.

It says one per household, but you should be able to do one to a member of your house and then one to your work adress right?
$50 in free groceries. YEAH!

Do you guys know if it will be printing the catalina in Arizona?
For some reason we never have the same deals like other states do.

This has nothing to do with groceries, but the free earrings from Darcus Tori are back.

Use code 0801 to get them for free!

If you have a Shop N Save you can bring in a new or transferred prescription and they will give you a $25.00 gift card. If you have an additional 5 more prescriptions filled they will give you an additional $25.00 gift card to any place that they sell gift cards to. This deal also works great when they do the $10.00 off Thursdays! This is when you automatically get $10 off a purchase of $50.00 or more. They take the $10 off then your additional coupons.

What an unbelievable deal - especially since Albertsons is the nearest grocery store for our small town!

I'm hoping to do this deal on a Thursday when my Shop N Save takes an automatic $10 off any $50 purchase. And of course I will use coupons too :)

With deals like this would it have to be $25 before coupons or $25 OOP?

I am so excited - finally a deal at a grocery store near me. All we have is Cub, Rainbow and Kowalski's which never seem to have the deals Publix and the other store have. I will be doing this deal twice - once to my house and once to my parents - THANKS!!

Hope its ok that I post it here!!

I only have Save-A-Lot around me so that is why it says the rebate at Save-A-Lot

Joining afullcup.com or pinchingyourpennies.com is a good way to find ideas on using this to your advantages.
Using the Utah forum for Albertson's on pinching your pennies is the best since they are hardcore couponers there.
