Walgreens: .06 Starbucks Drinks + Toy Clearance

Thanks goes to Heather, one of my readers, for spotting this new Starbucks Frappuccino coupon! Save $1 on any one Starbucks Frappuccino Coffee Drink (9.5 oz)! You can print this coupon in IE or Firefox. Please note that this coupon does print out with a Walgreens logo, but you can still use it anywhere that accepts manufacturer coupons.

As I mentioned in the Walgreens weekly deals, through 8/1, the Starbucks Frappuccino drinks are only $1.25 with in ad coupon. Use the $1 coupon from above or from the 6/21 SmartSource insert to snag them for just .25. You could also pair this deal with the 15% off coupon (available today ONLY)--which would make each drink just .06 after the coupon! Yay!

I also had another reader leave a comment about finding lots of toy clearance at Walgreens! If you spot any great toy clearance, then make sure to use the 15% coupon too!

If I buy 2 drinks and use 2 drink coupons will I have to buy another filler item to also use the Walgreens coupon? Thanks!

For the Starbucks drinks:

I was wondering what order to hand the coupons over to the cashier in and also, do I need a filler item? I have NEVER used coupons at WAGS and will attempt it today and just hoping for a positive experience. Thanks :)

Whitney and Sonya,
You will not need a filler...Walgreens coupons are not included in the coupon-to-item ratio. In this case, it doesn't matter which coupons you hand over first, since there is no overage. Just keep in mind that if you purchase anything else that you also have a coupon for, and you plan on using a RR, you will need a filler to attach to the RR. HTH.

fran thanks, i was unaware that the walgreens coupons in the ad counted. btw they opened the super walmart over the bristol bridge, i plan on going to check it out today :)

Hi Tara,
Let me know how you make out...I wonder if their prices will be cheaper than my Walmart. Happy shopping.
The Walgreens coupons do not count, for example if you get 4 Starbucks, and have 4 mfr. coupons, and 1 store coupon, you will be okay.

I have a hard time shopping here but I will definitely go for cheap starbucks! Thank you!

Maybe credit should be given to the source?

Give credit to the source of what?

Uh you mean One of the readers Heather, which was mentioned.

Informed lots of people of it but when arriving at Walgreens they said all Walgreen ads are not the same and it could not be honored. That'd be the store ad to bring the $1.89 down to $1.25:-(

I did this deal today. Along with the reynolds wrap and Garnier. The cashier DEMANDED the store coupons first! UGHH So I was prepared for the last Reynolds to beep....IT DIDNT !!!!!!! I think it has to do with the 15% off coupon being used first???

Thanks! I picked up four of the starbx drinks for six pennies each after reading your post and printing coupons from each of my computers! I also picked up two of my favorite WAGS brand items and used the 20% discount. A good shopping day:-)

no toys at my walgreens on sale.

my walgreens didn't allow it since the coupon excludes dairy item and they consider this dairy :(

Anyone know if that 15% off was supposed to count for the whole purchase? The woman at the register pretended to put my coupon in, and then when I looked at my receipt later, I noticed that the discount was not taken off of any of the items that I bought. It was weird though because the woman totally took my coupon, typed some things in on her register, and then put the coupon in her drawer as if it was used...

Yum. I just bought 12 for about $2.00 using 6 mfg coupons and 6 IP coupons (and the store coupon of course). Thanks so much.

I never like to shop at WAGs, because there's always drama. No matter how many times I try and plug numbers on spreadsheet in advance, I always end up paying high oop or having problems with coupons. And sure enough, my last deal was a nightmare. I had to go through 3 different WAGs, since my RRs were expiring on Friday, to get the Bic, Starbucks, and Garnier Shampoo deal. A couple of Wags wouldn't take all the coupons (the 15% off included), no matter how I changed the sequence. CVS is always a breeze for me, always nail the numbers on spreadsheet, get much lower oop (sometimes even $0!), and the ECBs have longer expiration date, too. I've never got a $0 oop on WAGs, only aggravation.

One more thing, my WAGs here don't take a higher number of coupons than items. The 15% Off coupon made it above the number of items and chocked the entire deal.

I went to Wag's at 10 at night and the cashier was tired, drinking a red bull in front of customers, and sighing every 5 seconds. But it worked for me because he took all my coupons! I ended up getting the Starbucks deal, which was fabulous, and I also got a mini cooler that I had been looking for. It was 50% off plus the 15% coupon. But I agree with Enzo - there's always drama! That's why I basically buried the outrageous savings by buying other things. I needed snacks for the beach anyway so I got a few things that were on sale. Total oop ended up being $15 so they didn't even blink. I think they make a bigger stink out of it during the day shift and when the total is a few cents or zero. Ok, I'm off to the beach!

I got the starbucks drinks after reading this post - my daughter was really excited because I normally won't buy them, but who could pass them up for .06 each! I also took advantage of the 15% and had some pictures printed.
