$0.09 Rimmel Mascara at Walgreens + CVS Olay Deal Update!
Walgreens has Rimmel cosmetics 40% off this week! According to Kimmie, a reader, the Rimmel Mascara starts in price at just $2.09. Use the $2 printable coupon from Red Plum or the $2 coupon from the 8/23RP (regional coupon) to snag mascara for just $0.09!
*****************************
Also, CVS had a deal I mentioned in the weekly deals on select Olay products and it's not printing Extra Care Bucks for the product I specified purchasing. Here is a recap of the deal:
Buy 2 Olay Definity Pore Redefining Scrubs or Cream Cleansers $10.99 each
Total=$21.98
Use the $4/$20 coupon from the Autofill coupon book
Plus, use 2 $3 coupons from the 8/23RP
Pay $11.98
Get back a $12Ecb
Final cost both for FREE!
If your Extra Care Buck does not print (which I'm guessing it won't), ask a manager if he can manually print the Extra Care Buck for you. He should be able to since the ad does state that the Definity Facial Care qualifies for the Extra Care Buck.

Mine didn't print for the cleansers, and they happily printed one manually. I love CVS!
hmmm thanks for the update. I ran out of time today but plan on doing this deal for sure so glad to know in advance. Thank You!
I bought 2 Definity Cleansers and my ECBs didn't print either. The manager looked at the ad and printed the $12.00 no problem. Kuddos to CVS!!!!!!!!
I tried this deal at two stores yesterday, and both places would not honor the cleanser & scrub. They said it was only valid on the specific products listed in the ad and apologized for the vagueness of the ad, but said that if there is not a shelf tag advertising the offer for the specific product, it is not included. Oh well, it was worth asking about! Maybe next week...
I did this deal with no printed ECB's. I asked about the ad and both cashier and the CVS stock clerk considered it apporpriate. Gave me ECB's with no problem. I was the one who wasn't sure about the deal since it wasn't labeled. It was great. Even met a fellow couponer. Gave her your web address
My Walgreens cheapest Rimmel mascara was $6.79. I ended up paying $4 something for both mascaras after coupons. I though it was still a good deal considering the cheapest Mascara I normally can buy is about $5. You girls that can get it for $0.09 are super lucky!! Thanks for all these great posts!
My CVS wouldn't since it states the cost at 24.99 + in the ad
My CVS said the same as the previous person noted - it must be $24.99. Then I was worried b/c I had used a bunch of coupons and ECBs and didn't know what to do and I didn't want to pay so much for these products. Even though he wouldn't print the ECB, he said he would refund the full amount on a gift card. Which works for me since I'm a CVs regular. lol
At Walgreens I couldn't find the Rimmel mascara for $2.09 either, they do have the Rimmel line on sale for 40% off and I had the $2 coupon but it was still $2.20 after the coupon but I have RR's to use up so still a good deal.
Thanks for the update!! I wasn't going to bother with the Olay deal but after this post I decided to try. The cashier at CVS said that this had already happened earlier and that they would give me my ECB's no problem! I also used the reese's coupons got 4 of them for free! Good day at CVS!
Same here. I got the Olay scrubs and the ECBs didn't print. They looked at the ad and printed them out no questions. Love free stuff!
I so wanted to do the Olay deal, but I just don't feel right being that the ad specifically says that without the card the items are $29.99-$31.99.
I did go and do the olay deal today. As expected no RR. The beauty clerk agreed with me that it did not specify but the manager was a jerk about it since there were no tags for these products and all the rest were tagged... but he did grudgingly give it to me anyway. :) I wasn't worried cause I knew if he would not, then they do refund you the price along with the coupon amounts you used onto a gift card so you can still use it like EB's. So got myself some free Olay :)
The Rimmel mascara was on sale for 4.79 at my Walgreens, so only 2.79 with coupon, but would have loved to get some for .09!!
If you have a Kmart, save the Rimmel coupon for doubles next week. The cheapest mascare there is 3.29 (PA) so with the $2 coupon it is free. I did this last week with the $2 Rimmel from ALL YOU.
Mine didn't print, and when I showed the ad to the clerk, he said it was just for the $24.99 products. So I returned the items, and he gave me the full price (including coupons!) back on a gift card - $22+!! even better!! :)
The cheapest Rimmel at my CVS was $7.49, so there was no way I was going to get it for $.09, and I wasn't going to get a deal at Wags either. Way to go girls. I think I will save them for next week for K-Mart and see if I can make a deal out of them there, let's hope. The $.09 must be in some other state besides IL
I couldn't find any mascara for under about 6 bucks either. However, they did have some eyeliner for just over $2 so I got that instead. Mascara would have been better but eyeliner is good too! :)
No 2.09 mascara at my wags either. But I do agree with someone posting about the deal at Kmart. I have a super K so I checked it out. Scored 8 mascaras for free after doubled coupons today.
Cheapest mascara at our Walgreens was around $7 minus the 40%......so about $4 or so before coupon.
Being a CVS cashier I have been printing out the ECB for people. Just ask the cashier prior to making the purchase if they are manually printing the ecb for people or if they are not allowing it. Guess it just depends are where you are.
what is ECBs? just wondering is that the same as register rewards?
The cheapiest Rimmel mascara in walgreens was for $4.12 so after coupon $2.12 still good but i wish i could have gotten it for 00.9 cents but oh well still a good deal but i also used a $1.50 register reward on it so payed 0nly 00.60 cents.
Just to let you know - my ECB did not print either at CVS - I questioned the cashier and she said the ad stated 24.99 and up - so the 10.99 did not work - she had to call the manager up front - they did refund me the money on a gift card ($23.30) - which was fine with me - I used ECB + 2 three dollar coupons and one 4 of $20 - and I shop CVS all the time so I'll use the gift card.
I questioned the deal myself before reading this updated post. However, I purchased 2 of the Olay cleansers yesterday and the $12 ECB printed out. Maybe they fixed it???!!
