I went to staples today and tried to use the Bic wite out coupon and the zebra Pen coupon. I was told I could not use the coupons because these have an instant rebate on them and you can combined two offers. My coupon said can not be combined with other offers but I told the cashier that is so you can't use two coupons on one item. I am just wondering if anyone else is running into this problem. The cashier who was also the manager told me they are "cracking down on coupon use" I don't really know what that means either as I was trying to use a coupon to purchase an item it is stated to be used on. I am wondering if anyone has the Staples coupon policy or corporates number for them?

Also at Office Max if you buy 2 Bic products (and you pick up the order form at the store), you can mail it in and get a $10 gift card to Lids (hat place). I did this last year and it worked great. Today I got 2 bic pen packs (buy 1 (at .99) get 1 for .01. I used a 1.00/2 products to get the pens for free. I will submit it (via form in store) and get a $10 lids gift card:)

I went to Office Max last week to get the 1 cent crayons. I saw some travel sized Purell for 99 cents ( my Target and Walmart don't have the travel size anymore). I tried to use my 60 cent coupons to buy 2 of them. The cashier had to call over a manager. The manager said he would grab a bottle (big bottle) for me and trotted off to get it.I said I wanted to use it on the travel size and that the coupon didn't specify size. He came back, scrutinized my coupon, and said that they wouldn't take it because the coupon said to be used at drug and grocery stores.I asked him if Office Max accepted manufacturers coupons or not. He said they only have ever had people use them on batteries! Anyone else tried using coupons at Office Max?

Don't forget that Wal-mart also matches all competitors prices if you bring in their sales flyer and it is the same specific brand/size, etc. I've done this several times and it pays off at back 2 school so you have less places to shop around at.
Hey I am not sure if this is at all Staples or just mine... But I was there yesterday and they also had Crayola Colored Pencils and Markers for $1, and crayons for 0.59... Much better quality than the RoseArt! :)
Called the Staples store up to day about the:

Not only did the district mgr say it was not a $1 after rebate but when I checked for the rebate form online there I couldn't find one.
