Borders also has a lot of Food Network DVDs on sale for $6.99. Spend $25 and shipping is free.
Went today and the free books are random books they have tagged with $1 price tag. Not a deal at all.
I also found out yesterday the freebies are $1 books; most of the titles weren't too appealing. However, you might ask for price checks b/c the bargain book I picked up as my "purchase" book was still tagged $5.99, but rang up for $1 anyway. So maybe there ARE some hidden goodies.
