I don't know what I am doing wrong, but everytime I go to Target it causes a scene. They never honor both the Target coupon and the manufacturer's coupon and have to call everyone and their mother over to check the policy. It holds up the line and causes much embarassment to me! I usually end up just walking away but I really want to get in on the deals. Any suggestions?

make a copy of the target policy and have it in hand when you check out. I also love to shop when its early in the morning or late at nite...not busy and that way you won't have to worry about holding up long lines. My target is getting better about the policy...every once in awhile I'll get a crabby cashier. I stick with the young ones, they usually are the best.

Thanks for the tip. This cashier was about 150 years old. Anyway, where do i get a copy of the coupon policy? I also went to Kmart for the double coupons, had to get a manager since the registers were not prorammed to double ANYTHING, and then the manager was really crabby with me! He was annoyed that he had to double the coupons and as of yesterday, the registers still do not double! My kids won't go with me anymore because people stare.

My Targets won't take the skittles or the General Milss coupon? DO I have a case if I call Target Corp? I really could use the cereal!

YES YOU HAVE A CASE.I HAVE TALK TO TALK ABOUT THIS ISSUE BEFORE ABOUT NOT TAKING COUPONS..CORPORATE TOLD ME IT IS THERE POLICY TO TAKE ANY COUPON IF THERE IS NO SIZE RESTRICTION ON A ITEM..EVEN IF THEY NEED TO BRING DOWN THE PRICE..I FEEL YOU ABOUT THE KIDS NOT COMING..MY 15 YEAR OLD IS THE SAME WAY..HE GETS SO EMBARASSED.YOUR NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG USING THE COUPONS..

Thx Anon - I'll give them a call today before I go back. Don't need to be hassled again.

I always find it odd when one Target is different from another on coupons. I went back home to a Target with my mom to use the Chef Michael dog food coupons that Target has and tried to stack it with a manufacturer coupon and they told me that they could only take one and that it was up to each store to enforce their policy. Blah blah...I was so pissed off I left all the food at the register and left. I took all the coupons back home with me and had no issues using them at my Target. I could have call Corp, but I just wanted to get out of there.

Where do I find a copy of Target's coupon policy to print? I will definitely take it with me next time so I can stack the coupons and have a leg to stand on.

At my Target (Winona, MN) I could not find Cinnabon bars anywhere.

hip2save has a copy of the target policy under TARGET coupon/store info. (right side, where their is the lists of stores) she usually posts it before she posts the deals.

My Target is getting much better about training their cashiers about the correct coupon policy, but I still have issues about them adjusting coupons values down when needed. I always carry a copy of Tatget's coupon policy and am very nice about it, and they usually get someone to finally do it for me as their policy states. I get a lot of funny faces and a bit of mockery sometimes for actually carrying a copy of policy around with me, though. :)

How cool that I can make money on the Skittles. just got 4 of them today and the extra 48 cents offset the price of some of my other food. 2 cinabons, 2 pkgs of baked lays and 4 skittles cost me 2.50 after tax and everything. Thanks so much hip. You are awesome!

Mander, I have the same problem. My target will only accept one target coupon per transaction! I did call cooperate and they did say it was up to the store to set the limit, but that what was customary was a family sized limit. they sent my feelings to my store that their limit was too low..blah, blah...nothings changed. i simply go there for nothing anymore.

Well thank you to all of your for your help! I printed a copy of the coupon policy and will attempt to go there tonight again. Hopefully, I will not be leaving empty handed with my tail between my legs. I am compelled to get a bargain so I'll swallow my pride to get cheap deodorant!!
