If only my Walgreens had enough product in stock to make that scenario work, I'd be all over it. All the good stuff is gone by Monday.

AAAARGGH! Collin you are amazing with your scenarios, but our paper (Tulsa) is one of the ones that lost the Valassis-Red Plum inserts -- this deal would work so well for me but now we only get one copy, in the mail, on Wednesdays. i plan to try ebay for the inserts, but i'm not sure i can get it by Saturday. So frustrating!

I've got a scenario for an $11.41 moneymaker which only requires one set of coupons! I've also got a MckLinky up if anyone else wants to share their scenarios! http://www.thedealscoop.com/2009/08/walgreens-5-off-25-wednesday-and.html

Dang why couldn't this coupon come out a day or two earlier? I already did 2 skippy deals (because my RR were about to expire). I could do another except that I do NOT wnat another $10 RR. I find them too hard to roll. Anyone with any other good scenarios? AND they do not need to be $25 after all coupons.... my Walgreens will take the coupon off the top on a $25 purchase before q's are deducted. Thanks if you have a great scenario...

I found a try-me-free rebate attached to the Vitamin shampoo at my local Albertson's store and snagged one making the deal even better!

It depends with this deal if your Walgreens allows you to use manuf coupons and get the rr. On other forums, there is a new policy with Walgreens stating you will not get rr's if you uses coupons. I know it has happened to me at 2 stores here in FL.

I just used coupons and got $14.5o in RR's. But I couldn't use my coupons when I went to redeem my RR's

They can not prevent you form using coupons if you are going to get a RR. They do not know if you will even use the future award. You can not tell someone they will not be able to use them now for something you might get later. In addition, the RR are non specific Manufacturers coupons and the store has NO say in how you use them that has not been dictated by the manufacturer. I know this very well because one of my Walgreen's tried this about 5 or 6 months ago. I contacted corporate who sent it to the regional manager who then retrained the staff. If your store is doing this, be sure to take down the managers name and get a store # or at the very least the location of the store and contact corporate via email and explain the situation, and ask that the staff please be trained in the proper handling of coupons. The department of weights and measures is on your side. :) What Walgreens is doing is illegal and in addition you might point out that it benefits the store to allow you to use coupons and receive a reward so that you will most likely come back and shop there again and they are fully reimbursed.
