How does anyone suggest getting around the "beeping" of the Ecotrin coupons and how do you get them to accept them?
I've had two different things happen with the Ecotrin coupons. One, the cashier manually enters $2.25 off, giving you overage. Two, the cashier adjusts the coupon down to $1.99 off, so you don't get any overage. I have used about 8 of those coupons there and they have always accepted them without a problem.
there's a 2.00 coupon for bandaids in the childrens activity book
$5 off 3 products from Reach? Did anyone get this? The coupon I got from the Indianapolis paper was $3/3.
My $3/3 coupon worked out as free stuff at Wal-mart. Their Reach dental floss is only $1.00, but I have a warning! I separated my order because I hate it when casheirs have problems with a coup (because the coup is for greater than the product cost such as $3 off 3 $1.00 products), the computer beeps a few times and they get irratated and just skip the coupon making you think that they accepted it. You end up unknowingly paying full price and losing your coup.
Anyway, went through line once with 3 dental flosses (all Mint) and the coup beeped but casheir put it through anyway. I then went through her line agian with the same coup and 3 Reach dental flosses agian, coup beeped, she ignored it and when I got home I realiezed I payed full price and she kept my coup. At the end of my reciept their was 2 different little tickets saying the coupon I used didn't match the items bought. She took two of my coups and didn't give me credit, I don't know if I should have bought all of the same kind like Mint (I bought 2 cinnamon, 1 mint), but it irratates me so much when they keep the coup and don't even tell you it didn't scan. I never realize those little tickets that print out when a coup rings is Walmarts way of turning your coup down!

I always wonder when I read these Walgreen's and CVS posts.... How do RR work?
thanks!
Does Walgreens have a card or anything? Or can you potentially do these deals as many times as you want?
Anon: Walgreens does not have a card. You can do the deal as many times as you want in separate transactions. However, you cannot use the RR you receive to pay for the same deal. Example: Get Reach RR to pay for Reach, because you will not get another RR. You can use the Reach to pay for the Jergens and still get a RR. I hope that explanation wasn't too confusing.
hallie and anon,
try reading the cvs and walgreens know-how that hip has on the site. hth
Tara,
Have you been to the new Walmart yet...and have you ever gone to the Super Walmart in Deptford? Take care.
no i still have not gone! everytime i think i am gonna go it rains (like today) I just dont feel like going out on gloomy days like this. and no i never went to the one in deptford! my parents live down that way, its not too far from them, have you gone? is it nice?
I found Reach Toothbrushes on clearance for 1.09 at my local Wags. I used the 3/3.00 coupon and got the $6.00 RR back!
Tara,
No, I have not gone there...we don't get that way too often. My sister lives in Turnersville, and we are supposed to go one day this week, so I thought about stopping at Walmart, as long as hubby doesn't mind...he hates shopping. I know what you mean about gloomy days...we are staying in today, also.
An FYI on the Listerine/Reach deal: My local paper didn't have a $5/3 coupon. It had a $3/3 coupon, but it is only good on the 1 liter bottles of Listerine. The ones on sale at Walgreens are 500 ml.
Diane
i tryed the ecotrin coupon at my walgreens and the kid at the register wouldnt take it or adjust the price... and he almost wouldnt do the sharpie coupons either but he said he'd go ahead and do it even though "his manager dosen't want them to"... do they think they arent gonna get paid back? Plus they get a handling fee! i dont even wanna bother going to walgreens anymore.
Anonymous:
The reason the coupon beeped is because you used it incorrectly. I states that "items cannot be duplicated" - Meaning you cannot have more that 1 floss, brush, mouthwash, or flosser. You'd have to pick 3 out of the 4.
Not sure where to put this, but remember those printable $1.00 off of 2 Bic Stationary items coupons? We can use them this week at Walgreens to get free pens! They have their 10 packs of Bic black or blue pens on sale for 2 for a $1.00! FREE PENS! The same coupon was also in this past Sundays paper too, for those of you that didn't print out the ones while they were available.
i got the $5 off 3 coupon, but like diane said, the listerine is good only for the liter, not the 500ml.
I was able to purchase 1 of the activity books for .99 and my local cashiers (believe it or not) are scanning the coupons just like they do the in ad or IVC coupons and returning them to me to use over and over!!! And I think they are good until like January or something. I got a total of 12 Neosporins so far today (.5 oz and "to go") . For every 2 that I by, they ring up 4.26 with no manufacturer's coupons taken into acct. (although I did have 2 .50 Qs and 2 $1 ones that I used) then I get back a $4 RR. I was able to use up some $3 RRs that I had from an earlier deal, too!!! Also, they are scarce, but I have picked up 3 of the 64 ct. Huggies wipes for 2.79 each minus 2.00 Q in the Back to School flyer minus .75 coupon that I received in the mail resulting in .04 wipes + tax! Good day!Off topic -- have any of you purchased the discounted photo stamp software? I am hesitant to buy b/c it shows 42 cent postage on the front and I want to make sure that I can purchase postage at the current rate using the software.
