Walgreens: FREE Character Band-Aids + More!

I'm thinkin' Walgreens is the place to be this week! It seems like they have so many great deals, especially with the new Back-2-School coupon booklet and Coloring book coupons!

Here are 2 more deals:

Currently there is a monthly Register Reward on Band-Aids and Neosporin products: Buy 2 select Neosporin or Band-Aid products $2.99 each and get a $4 Register Reward. Well, the character Band-Aids are regularly priced at $3.79. Here's how you can snag them for FREE + make some money:

Deal scenario:
Buy 2 Character Band-Aids $3.79 each
Total=$7.58
Use 2 $0.50/1 manufacturer coupons from the 8/2 or 6/28SS
Plus, use 1 $2/1 Walgreens coloring book coupon
(will take off $4)
Pay $2.58

But then get back a $4 Register Reward!
Final cost FREE + a $1.42 moneymaker!

**This would be a great deal to combine with other deals to get your total up to $25 to snag the additional $5 Register Reward!

(Thanks, CommonSenseWithMoney!)

Also, the September issue of All You magazine, on page 155, has a coupon for $1 of any one Softsoap Body Wash. Use the coupon this week with the FREE Soft Soap Nutri Serum Register Reward deal to make $1! (Thanks, Jules!)

I'm loving walgreens this week. Thanks Hip2Save!
If you buy 2 Children Zyrtec Hives relief grape syrup it qualifies for the 5RR monthly deal and it's on clearance for $3.xx and there's a $3 coupon here: http://www2.scholastic.com/content/collateral_resources/pdf/z/zyrtec_coupon.pdf

does the total for the $5 off $25 have to be after coupons, or just $25 and then use coupons too and it would print the RR?

yesterday, I thought of doing this with the character bandaids, but they weren't marked with the sale price and didn't have the rr tag hanging below it like the others did. has anyone had luck with this?

I think Walgreens only accepts the number of coupons equal to purchases so I don't think you could use the two manufacturer coupons with the one from the coloring book to purchase the two Band-Aid products.

Hey I got some screaming deals this week from walgreens too but what a NIGHTMARE!!! I kept trying to get the huggies wipes I had $1 off 2 and then the $2 coupon from the booklet. The manager pretty much told me I was trying to do coupon fraud because I was trying to use them both at the same time!!! Even though I have used the two coupons together before. I went to a different walgreens and got better service. By the way I did the $25 transaction and got 2 Neosporin, 3 kotex tampons, 4 velveeta shells, and 2 handwarmer packets(filler) for $1.74 after all my RR. By the way the bandaids and neosporin are no longer on sale in my Walgreens. I would have made money on this if they were. Instead of 3.99 they were 5.99. Still a screaming deal though. Thanks for all your help!!!

You can use the manufacture coupons for the bandaids and the coupon book coupon because on is a walgreens coupon. I know it works because I did it yesterday with the kids listerine. Good luck and hopefully you have a friendly checker!

I don't think the bandaids are still $2.99 each, they were on sale last week along with the neosporin for $3.99 each. I'll go by today and report back.

The register reward is a monthly and still valid

Just back from Wags. The bandaids rang up at $4.39 each and the Zyrtec was on sale for $3.29 but the coupon posted would not go thru. It kept saying I didn't purchase that item.

The Bandaids are no longer on sale, here in Chicago. But still a pretty good deal.

Here in New Jersey they are priced at $3.99 and the neosporin ranges from $5.29 to 6.00 but like everyone said still a good deal.

I have been wondering if the character band aids were on sale or not.... I know the RR promotion is still on, but I know the sale price was only for last week at least for the neosporin because i did that one several times. I was hoping the band aids would be on sale so i could do a 2nd walgreens trip for the $5 off $25 deal. I did this one this am. 1 soft soap Body wash - $2.00 coupon printed (no longer available), 1 conair hairbrush $2.99, 4 velveeta/easy mac cups -$1 wags Q and 2 BOGOF Q's, 4 Mars candy bars -2 $1/2 MQ's and 1 Wags Q, 1 mailer - 1 $.50 MQ, 2 Huggies baby wipes ($2.99)- 2 $1.50 printed Q and 1 Wags Q for $2 (removes $4 so is a small MM), 1 can of progesso soup -1 wag Q (needed for filler), 2 Listerine agent blue rinses - 1 BOGOF Q and -1 $1 MQ (for the one not getting free)and the $1 WAGQ (takes off $2) and I used $8 in RR for a subtotal of $.11 and I received $15 in RR back! ($4 for the Soft Soap bodywash, $3 for the Listerine, $2 for the Conair hairbrush, $1 for the Velveeta cups, and $5 for the promotion of $5 off of $25) I hope this helps somebody find some good deals too! Will go look and see about the band aids...fingers crossed.

I didn't try the character bandaids last week because they weren't listed in the ad and I assumed the RR deal would not work for them. Someone please post if you do this successfully!!! =)
