Can we still use two coupons even though it is the exact same coupon? Won't they think it is "copied?"

They were not on clearance in Dallas.

Clearanced in Chicago to $3.29, used 2 q's. It did beep, but she manually entered it, still got the $5RR.

Worked for me in NC. The coupon beeped--they didn't know why and pushed it threw

Yeah, these coupons definitely beep. Mgr pushed them through. I did it twice at two separate stores.

Just a tip, some stores have the price as $8.64 (or something like that) for the grape flavor, but if you do a price check, it should ring up as $3.19-ish. Unfortunately, that's not the case with the Huggies. :(

On clearance in omaha, NE. but only the age six and over. My little guy is three so I didn't get any. :(

For those of you that don't have a "use" for this, consider donating to a shelter or food pantry, will cost you about $.70 for 2 but give you the $5RR...just a thought.

Great tip about donating products to a food pantry if you don't need them.

Thanks, I got the coupons and they printed out really big. I was able to use 2 Q's, but they had to push it thru.

THIS DOES NOT WORK!!!
I am in Provo, UT and it beeped when I tried to use it on the clearance graze children's zyrtek. I got on of those, and one regular priced adult one. They had a couple registrars looking at it and a manager and were asking me all sorts of questions about the coupons and where I got them, etc.
They FINALLY let me do it. But then my $5 RR did NOT print. I was BEYOND aggravated and I had 2 of my 3 kids with me. I ended up getting my money back and walking out of the story angry!
They said with the clearance items, it will not print out the RR.

I am in Utah and I found of the childrens Hive on clearance so I used 2 coupons which also beeped but my cashier just put them through manually and the 5RR did print on the clearance items, great deal thanks

Just a tip for WG's shoppers since it is SOOO frustrating to go through all this hassle and not have your RR print and have people tell you it's because you used a coupon - BS!

Call the catalina company at 888-322-3814 and have your receipt in front of you. They will be able to look up your transaction and see that the RR did not print and will mail one to you. It generally takes 4-6 weeks but it makes a win-win out of a frustrating situation.

Has anyone ever been told that you can't use 2 of the same coupon in one transaction even if you are buying 2 items, because the coupon says "Limit one coupon per purchase". I have had cashiers say that you can't use two coupons for two items in the same transaction. Just wondering if that has happened to anyone else.

Wow! I just got back from my second trip to Walgreens today and I still haven't gone to pick up my FREE scrapbook page from the photo dept. I did the Zyrtec Hives deal and it worked! The manager had to come approve in order for the coupons to go through. I paid .58 for the two bottles and got the $5 RR. Yay!

I got some at the PG location in Utah. However, the coupon DIDN'T work for me either. The manager would not push it through, said he wasn't allowed to. I still got them b/c with the RR it is a good deal. Thanks for the info!

it worked in central va, yay!

There is also the $2.00 coupon that you could use to avoid the beep. I used those for the Walgreens that would not take internet coupons. Can we use internet coupons on all walgreen stores?

I just bought the Zyrtec and it was a $5 profit for me! Mine was on clearance for $2.79 BUT it was marked $7.69. I had them price check it and was happy to find this! I used both Qs - the cashier just adjusted the Q to the clearance price. I ended up spending $2.15 oop (Velveeta, Zyrtec, mailing envelopes, Huggies wipes, and highlighters) and got $11 back in RR!! Very excited about this trip!

Seriously? Am I that dumb? Read this post, ran out to CVS and couldn't find the deal. Now I realize why - IT'S FOR WALGREENS! *Sigh*

Hip2save, what you have pictured I don't think is the one for hives. I have seen the one for hives on clearance a few months ago. We just ran out to see if they had any, but there were none of the hives one. Is the one pictured that actually does not say "hives" on it the one working?

It was on clearance at my Walgreens here in So Cal, but they were all out. You snooze, you lose, LOL!

Stopped at 3 Wag's today. They were on clearance at one, and it worked. The first cashier told me I couldn't use both though, but then the manager did it for me. Omaha NE

BTW, I wanted to let you know I have been rolling the clearance fan deals for a few days now. All there fans are on clearance for 50% off, and you also get a $5 or $10 RR back with each one (these are labeled on the box) Due to all the other deals I am mixing with the RR, I have gotten 4 fans, one digtal tower, 2 37" tall one, and a desk fan. I have only paid about $13.00 out of pocket so far for all 4 and still have $20RR left!!

Was only good for the 6 and older....still got it I can find someone that can use it

Teresa said...

The box shown in the picture is incorrect. I found it on an end aisle in the clearance section and it clearly state "hives" on the box.
All the Wags near me are out of fans, BOO!

Worked in KY!! For those of you questioning the age 6 and "for Hives", i checked the active ingredients and they are the same. Then I took it to the pharmacist and asked the difference and he said - "there is no differencce.buy the cheaper one. it is just marketing" i bought them for my grandchild who is 3 and my daughter is going to cross check the correct dosage with pediatrician. Hope this helps. Great buy on expensive over the counter med that is so necessary for little ones with allergies quality of life!! My coupon beeped too but the cashier manually entered. Thanks hipesave!!

After reading this deal I ran to Walgreen unfortunately the only price found was $12.99, even went through the clearance but no such thing....but thank you though!

Anonymous said...

Well mine beeped too and I should have read the posts first. I'm not assertive enough, should have asked the manager to push it through. Coupon said any Zyrtec item but cashier said her message was that no matching item found. Wonder if it had to be just regular Zyrtec vs. Hives? In any case, I'm happy at 3.29 each plus $5 RR. No complaints here. And by the way...the ingredients are the same in both so use as you would regular Zyrtec.

Anonymous said...

My husband (a physician) also said it was marketing. I was going to donate them and he said to keep them for our kids. I said that they don't have hives and he said it was marketing and just like regular zyrtec.

29 cents a piece and 5 dollar RR.

Sad thing is that I miscalculated my total. It was only 22. No extra 5 dollars.

Figured this out when driving home. ARGH!!

My Walgreens had these on clearance for $2 something, so I combined the $3 coupon with a $2 coupon to make it work. The coupon didn't go through, but the manager 'pushed' it through. I only paid about .50 for the two bottles, plus got my $5 RR. YAY!
Thanks!
