I got a scary message from one of my software protectors that this is not a legitimate website and to not give out any personal information. Anyone else get this?

I went ahead and placed my free order, seems very reputable, actually. I mean we don't have to give any payment information anyway. Thanks, can't wait to get the teas! I LOVE this website. I think I am actually addicted to it. I made one of your coupon binders yesterday and it worked out great! You have great tips and ideas!

I ordered a sample of the tea back in November of last year and it never came. I tried emailing their customer service several times and they never responded. Just an FYI for everyone.

Hi Guys,

The site may be down right now from all the traffic... I'm not sure.

I have requested this tea sample before and received it, so I promise it is a legit freebie.

This is the message I got when I hit the checkout button "There is a problem with this website's security certificate.

The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server."

Worked just fine for me.

I got the same message. Not worth the risk for 2 samples of tea. Oh well, you can't win them all!

I ordered - It doesn't ask for payment info - just your shipping address and that info is free online - I could put anyones name online and get family info, address, and phone number for free. Sad but true - privacy is an illusion in America, we are told we have privacy rights - but then you can't even get a website with out having all of your personal information public and it is against the rules to put false info - if you want it protected you have to pay an extra fee. AGain, sad but true.

I'm at work and they have MAJOR security and firewalls, etc. and I got through fine w/o any security alerts or blocks! Hopefully I get my tea samples and the Blue Stuff sample (since I have a bad back).

Hey everybody... I ordered this tea back in January, and it still says my order is "pending". Also check out this thread regarding people having never receiving the offer as long ago as early 2008: http://forums.slickdeals.net/archive/index.php/t-1207363.html

You might want to take particular note of this email exchange between someone requesting a sample and the company: http://forums.slickdeals.net/showpost.php?p=16309599&postcount=228

Personally I've written them off as a scam, even if they did at one point actually send out samples... (and yeah, their security certificate for some parts of the site doesn't match the site address.. it's registered to "aquabotdirect.com" which certainly seems odd in and of itself...).

Just the info I've gathered on them! If you request it and it comes, awesome, but you might just want to be aware. :)

I was just coming to post the same info. as Sarah Eliza. I really do advise everyone of doing a quick internet search when things are offered for free, especially when it's not from a recognized source (like WalMart's samples). Try searching the name of the company and the word "scam" "complaint" etc. Even if you get your tea samples I hope no one does business with a company that treats customers so rudely. http://forums.slickdeals.net/showpost.php?p=16309599&postcount=228

Twice I have signed up for samples from here and have never gotton anything. I received e-mails confirming my order and I tried contacting them later after months and months and months and never got a response.

Hi! I'm getting that error message too. Something about not a trusted certificate/legitimate website, etc. Decided not to proceed, too many viruses out there. ;)
