3 Months of FREE Showtime + Possible Profit!

Tressa emailed about a great cash back offer Showtime is dishing out! To check out all the details go on over here and click on the red cash back link in the upper right hand corner. Basically they are offering $25 cash back in the form of a $25 Visa prepaid debit card, thru 12/31/09.

To qualify for this cash back offer, follow these steps:
  • Contact your service provider and order Showtime!
  • Collect three months of original bills that indicate your Showtime subscription from your service provider.
  • Fill out the Rebate Form available here (click on the red cash back link).
  • And finally, mail your three months of original bills and Rebate Form to the address provided. That's it!

**Showtime also advertises here that for a limited time you can get Showtime for just $7.99 or less per month! If so, 3 months for $7.99 per month would equal out to just $23.97. That means that you'll possibly be making a $1 profit after the cash back! If you can get Showtime for even less then $7.99 per month, you could profit even more!

(Thanks, Tressa!)

So we have 3 months to turn in the bills right? This would be great because when I started service this month they gave me a year FREE of Showtime! All I need is to show we have Showtime right?

Not that sweet of a deal with DirecTV. It's $12.99 a month to add to DirecTV.

WOWZA! I just called my DISH provider and they added showtime and HBO for FREE for three mos. It is normally 12.99 per mo. They said this was for being a loyal customer but I guess maybe others could get this. It is worth calling their # was 1888 825 8557. Good luck!! Hopefully they will give the gift card for a free trial? Collin, what do you think?
Thanks!!

This rebate will not work with the 7.99 price tag. If you look at the fine print on the 7,99 page it says it can't be combined with any other rebate offer or promotion. The 25 dollar rebate is for those who don't qualify for the 7.99 price tag. If you get it for 7.99 you can't get the 25 dollar rebate.

john, what does that mean? 7.99 is the standard price for some people.

John,
I read the fine print and I think you are incorrect. It is pretty vague and does not even say anything about getting it for free. I think it is worth a try.

If you look at the top of the page, it states 7.99 for a limited time. Under the 800 number it states to click here if you don't qualify for the 7.99 promotion. When you click under the 800 number it gives you the 25 rebate form. On the bottom of the 7,99 page it states that it can't be combined with any other rebate or promtion. It may or may not work....I say this because if your normal price is 7.99 then it isn't part of the promotion. If your price is normally higher and you sign up for the 7.99 promotion, then I don't think you could use the 25 dollar rebate. I'm just giving people a heads up that it may not work...

I dont see the 7.99 thing anywhere for the rebate that says that price would not count for it.

If you have DirecTV and are a "loyal customer" (it always makes me laugh), just call them periodically and get $$ off your bill or free HBO/Show. Ask for retention and tell them you're thinking about going back to cable and they'll sweeten your deal. I think you can do this 1x/year. (I've done it lots, but had DTV for years.)

I just got our cable company to match dishs promotion and then called later and told them I want free showtime or Im going with dish, they said O.K. and gave it to me free for one year. Fine with me cause Im not paying for it!!! Its reruns all the time, anyways.
