I have a question that has nothing to do with this amazon offer. I am newly married and I love bein organized, and have just started this whole coupon deal. It is great and I love saving money! But I was wondering how you organize your coupons? I saw your Monday video and your binder/ coupon holder thing. I have one just like it, and I really wanted to know what the most efficient way to organize the coupons are.
Thanks!

Remember - Grade B is for cooking not pancakes.

Jessica - I have noticed people don't like to share how they organize their folders much. Here is the best way I have learned is to buy baseball card holder inserts, colored file tabs and page seperators.

You make a main tab for a catagory - such as Food, pharmacy, baby, cosmetics, chemicals, etc..

Then, you make sub-catagries using the color cordinated tabs: if you have red tabs for food make all your food sub-catagories red. Then make your sub-catagories- such as frozen, bread meats, breakfast, drinks, etc... do that for all your catagories.

Now, take your non-transparent page dividers and stick the lables with your main catagories on them and place them in your book.

Next, put a sub-label on each one of your baseball card holder pages, then place them in alphabetical order in the right main catagory. Your binder shoul dbe color cordinated now and organized by main catagory and sucatagory.

FInally, place a few more baseball card holders in each subcatagory section. This should make it easy to go to the right page while shopping.

Make sure your binder has slits on the insides of them to place your printed coupons - you do not need to cut them when your print them. Just put them in your binder.

You also want to make sure you have a pencil holder zipper bag in the front of your binder before your pages. This way you can place your small safety scissors in their a pen and any thing else.

One last thing - I always keep abaseball page before my first page seperator behind the pencil holder - that is for special coupons like rite-aid $5/$25 or albertsons doubles coupons.

I have many more coupon secrets, but they are my own and works best for me and the way I think and organize. This should get you started on your own system.

good luck

voiceinyourhead, we have used grade b maple syrup for years on pancakes, for cooking, etc...

what makes you say this?

Tara said...

So, is this good for pancakes or not?? That is mainly what I would be using it for. Thanks

I use grade B for everything, including pancakes. If given a choice between A and B, I always choose B. It has a richer stronger taste. It's a matter of personal opinion, like ale or dark beer.

I meant lager. But you get the idea. Some people like a lighter taste, some people like a darker stronger taste.

I use grade B on everything also, mostly because of the cost of grade A.
This is a GREAT deal. Ordered mine.

I bought 2 of the maple syrup gift sets with pancake mix. Price was reduced to $18 with free shipping after code was applied and was actually free with swagbucks! Perfect family gifts for friends to enjoy Christmas morning! I didn't do subscribe and save, didn't know it was so easy to cancel so will have to keep that in mind for the future. Thank you!

I guess its a matter of taste. If you google it grade b is also called cooking syrup. There is no reason you cant put it on pancakes. It is just stronger tasting. I just ddnt want people to expect Mrs Buttersworth. :)

Thanks...ordered mine. It came to $3 after my swagbucks!!!! Hope I like it!!!

Jessica-
If you google coupon organizer you will be able to get all sorts of video on how people organize their coupons. It might take some trial and error to see what works best for you. I personally use an accordian file for all my loose coupons and keep the whole insert in a hanging file box. That is the system that works best in my life. Everyone is different. Good luck!

Thank you! Just ordered mine. Grade B syrup is our FAVORITE, and this is the best price I have seen in forever--organic too! The kids will be overjoyed!

Ms. Butterworth is not maple syrup. It's corn syrup.

That is a fantastic price!! I ordered mine!

We also prefer grade B over grade A for pancakes. I think grade B is usually more expensive than A, isn't it? I wouldn't waste my delicious grade B syrup by cooking with it! =)

Ordered mine! Thanks so much - I've been having such a hard time getting real maple syrup without paying an arm, a leg, and my firstborn child for it!
