Southwest MI only got 4 coupon inserts. :( Still good and i still bought extra papers but I think the inserts are thinner than in other areas too. I picked up a paper in chicago when we were there and Holy Crap!!! I looked online to see if i could get the chicago paper but... no. :( LOL

Thai Kitchen noodle bowls -- good for lunches -- are on sale at Giant Foods (Maryland and surrounding areas) for $1.25 each. So with coupon they will be 25 cents. The very small noodle packages tend to be .99 at Giant, Safeway & Whole Foods so they would be FREE. Giant & Safeway double coupons up to .99 cents and there are .50 coupons floating around too.

I don't see the Thai Kitchen coupon. What zip code is it under? TIA

Oh, and the Surf coupon in my Parade magazine was only $.75 - so the value varies by region.

Same here in Fairfield, CA, Melissa... only 4 inserts. I'll be picking up a San Francisco newspaper this morning to compare.

OH!!!! I found an answer on SmartSource FAQ - If a coupon says you've printed it when you didn't - It's likely that the MFG has set a limit on total number of coupons available and the limit has been reached. hunh. Well that explains a few things...

In my Parade Magazine (Southwest Suburb of Chicago) there wasn't a coupon for Surf, but a coupon for .75 off the purchase of (1) Hormel Compleats, microwave meal, any variety (expires 11/22/09)

My Surf coupon in the Parade magazine in DFW area is for $3.00. Not sure why the amount has to vary with different regions though. I also got a duplicate insert in the paper today so I got 6 inserts.

If your paper has USA Weekend in it there is a $3 coupon for Surf.

Feel blessed you got 4 coupon inserts. We got 2 inserts. Thankful for that, but disappointed when expecting 5. Oh well, I'm sure I can use some of these multiples of the two's that I got. Dang!!!

Bonnie/AR what inserts were you missing? If you didn't get any Red Plum inserts, you can go to their website to see if *any* paper in your area still carries them. Here in the Tulsa area our Tulsa World quit carrying them in July, but the Oklahoma City-based Oklahoman still does. It's harder to find the Oklahoman -- and even more so now that ppl are snagging them for Red Plums :) . But that may be the issue where you're at.

Hope a solution comes your way.

Van de Kamps frozen seafood is on sale for $3.99 at Schnucks (STL area) this week - so just .99 after coupon. :)
