Restaurant.com: Super HOT 90% off Promo Code Get $350 worth of Certificates for $12!

Wow! To celebrate 9-9-09, for 99 hours ONLY, Restaurant.com has a super HOT 90% off promotional code available:

Just go on over to Restaurant.com, choose a $25 certificate of your choose and use promo code NINETY at checkout. Your final cost for each $25 certificate purchased will ONLY be $1!

Or for an even better deal, you can purchase the Dinner of the Month Club. What's that? It's a 12 month package that comes with 12 $25 gift certificates and one FREE $50 gift certificate! The total for this package will be $120, but after you type in promo code NINETY--your total will drop down to just $12! Wahoo! That means you're snagging $350 worth of dining certificates for ONLY $12!

I always stock up on certificates when they're 80% off and now they're 90% off which is unheard of... so definitely stock up time. The certificates also don't expire for a year after purchasing, so you'll have lots of time to make use of them.

If your unfamiliar with how restaurant.com works, then be sure to check out this post! You may also want to read through the comments on this post if you still have questions.

(Thanks, Canita!)

Love this site. I have scored so many cheap meals. Just make sure to choose the restaurants that allow you to spend $35 and use the $25 gift card, some have upped the limit and say you need to spend $50

Do you have to be hooked up to a printer at the time of purchase? Or can you buy them and access it later to print it from another computer? Thanks!

Wow. That is an incredible deal!! THanks!! I've used 3 certificates so far and have been extremely happy saving so much money. I usually order the most expensive thing on the menu, too!

just ordered some, the code is working now. Woohoo!

Does anyone know if you can really only use one of these per month, per restaurant? It is stated in the terms and conditions. How do they keep track?

I'm never sure when I last used my gift certificate - somehow I'm sure I used 2 within a month for some of my favorite restaurants, but only by accident. I've seen several of my local restaurants stop using restaurant.com, and I wonder if they were losing money.

But - my niece is going to be super happy when she opens her email tomorrow and has 10 $10 GCs for her restaurants in her college town!

i just signed up for the monthly club, and i have to say, it's the most confusing system i've ever seen. i can't for the life of me figure out what i'm supposed to be doing.

just posted, but have a few questions. what am i supposed to be printing, exactly? the "coupon" that comes with the link that says "click to activate"?

also, it says to add my certificate of choice to my cart and check out, then take my gift coupon with me. how do i purchase a certificate and not pay online?

i'm extremely lost, it seems as though i have to purchase something in order to redeem this "gift," but that can't possibly be the case?

You are purchasing a code which later you redeem for a printable coupon.

You do have to make a purchase and pay, and see the confirmation page for this to work.

On another site, people are saying the site is down due to volume and to try later.

I've used this site before and it works, you just have to pay close attention to the individual restaurant's rules.

Awesome! I got a few for gifts and a few to keep around for some restaurants in the area when we feel like treating ourselves! They are good for a year so it's no better time to stock up!

i dont see one FREE $50 gift certificate at checkout

Valid for dinner Tues-Thurs with a minimum food purchase of $50.

If you decide you want more later, the code will work w/ multiple transactions & certificates per order.

You can customize the certificate when you chose to activate the monthly Dinner Club. I am going to put my friend's and family's names in for Christmas gifts. Thanks for the tips!!

I bought some but can't use them. The 1 restaurant closed down. I have 4 for $25 (credit) does anyone know what I can do with them?

If you look under questions/Facts on the site, there is a number you can call...I think you can exchange the gift certificate for another restaurant that is open.

In the case where a restaurant closes all you have to do is contact customer service and hope there are other restaurants to choose from in your area. There are not many within a hundred mile radius where we live.

This could be a great way to get certs for restaurants that are never available at 80% off!

Thanks! I'd been wondering what I could get my brother for Christmas this year and now I know - he's getting the Dinner of the Month Club. It will be nice for him and his wife to get a nice dinner at least partly paid for!!! Thanks for all you do!!!

Isn't 90% off of $25 = $2.50 you'd pay? I did a gift cert. and it said it was $1.50. I'm confused. How do you get it for $1?

Anonymous said...

Not many restaurants in my area. But I'll give it a try anyway. There was a really really expensive one on the list so maybe I'll take the hubby out and he'll be impressed - just won't tell him my secret....

We only have 1 restaurant in our area that is with restaurant.com, but these certificates are great when we travel. We used 3 on DH's business trip in California (all 3 different restaurants).

Thanks so much for the restaurant of the month idea I had no clue about this! My husband loves to eat out and they have some of our favorite restaurants on there, doing that and going through cashbaq - 13 gift certificates for $9.60 wow! Great, great idea and great way to stock up. I think I am set for a year or so now! Hopefully I can travel some where (when my husband gets a job) and score some good deals in the summer

Anon,
It is 90% off what you pay for the certificate. Most of them are $10 for a $25 cert. and 90% off of that would be $1.00. I am guessing if you paid $1.50, that your cert was $15 for a $25, which normally would not be as good of a deal, but with the code, it is still cheap. Happy eating!

That was awesome, thanks for the tip! I snagged $230 worth of certificates for under $10!! Best part is I got to print them right away and am using one on my lunch break :D

Anonymous said...

Just purchased $260 worth of certificates for under $11! The 80% off deal is usually just for the $25 certificates, but this 90% off deal includes all certificates! We use these certificates frequently and have never had problem. When I accidentally chose a restaurant that turned out to be a dump or if a restaurant closed down, customer service has been great replacing my certificates. I just email them and they send me a code for credit toward a new purchase.

for the dinner of the month club, do you choose the restaurant or do you get certificates for 12 random restaurants?

Dawn said...

It says my order went through, but they are not showing up in my account. Were you able to print them right away?

Anonymous said...

I think the site is having some problems...and their phone lines are super busy and I can't get through. I placed an order...it said it was processed..but I didn't get an email, it's not on my account as "recenly purchased," and it still hasn't shown up on my credit card.

The site says my order was processed but nothing is in my account and I did not receive a confimation email. I tried calling and all circuits are busy. I'm not sure if I should try to put another order in or wait to see if the certificates actually get processed.

As soon as I posted my previous comment the confirmation email came in but it is not showing up in my account yet. I'm very happy now!
